Manga/anime spoiler (not a spoiler for the show!)- by this point in the anime they've had sex multiple times already so the show choosing to make this their first time is CRAZY 💀💀 the thing with the cold still happens but the reason it's SO upsetting for akin is because in the anime he feels like junta (jin) has been using him for his body and then like threw him away almost when he "got sick of him" which is why he's so angry and upset at the confrontation. It's actually a much sadder more desperate scene in the anime believe it or not. Also the mints...I actually can't remember if they fully explain it in this show or not so I won't talk about it yet but just know in the anime jin was DEVOURING those mints in the car lol But yeah this honey scene is one of the most iconic ones from the og and if they'd have cut it or not fully committed it would've been a terrible adaptation I'm SO glad smartboom went off so hard 🙏🏻 there's also the "black honey cut" version of this scene where it's all the same but in black and white with only honey being in colour, it's actually crazy (it's on wetv if you'd like to partake in some investigative journalism🫶🏼)
