2025-05-30 15:16:10 +0000 UTCFor spoiler free info on the convo during the airing of the show: a lot of talk of how well it was adapted and also some back and forth on whether the changes they made were good or not (they told the story in a different order too) so lots of chat about that, lots of praise and hype for a specifc scene that's absolutely ICONIC to the manga and anime (coming in ep 4π), lots of really good and also infuriating convo about something that takes place in ep 6 & 7- I'll talk in detail when you get there of course but I was happy to see so many people have good takes but there were still plenty of people who simply dismissed like...Everything and ugh I can't talk about it without spoiling π honestly? Most of the convo I saw at least was just absolute praise for smartboom because you'd never guess this was their first series together and lots of people becoming utterly obsessed with them outside of the show and the rest of the convo was in regards to specific events that take place and how well they handle them and if the manga, anime or remake did it better,, it's actually so hard to do this without spoilers nevermind π My advice to you is to Google/look up absolutely nothing about this show bc I think it's absolutely inevitable that you'd be spoiled about some of the biggest plot points/ general gags lol and selfishly I'm desperate to see the POV of someone who hasn't seen the original and thus will be 100% surprised hehe
