2025-05-05 06:01:46 +0000 UTCThis season is so incredible and I wanted to point out a few things that I really loved about these episodes: obviously you noticed this, but Sieun and Baekjin are definitely mirror characters, made clear by the scene where Baekjin is thinking the exact same way as Sieun does in a fight. It really emphasises that Sieun is at his core a good and kind person, because someone with the same talents as him is doing such evil. Also, I'm obsessed with color coding characters (for example, Suho is red coded), and this is being utilised in such a cool way this season. Sieun has been coded as colorless or black and white (as you'll notice Baekjin is as well to further the point that they're mirroring each other). Baku is also red coded, which emphasises his similarities to suho. Gotae is blue and Juntae is normally seen in pastels. An incredibly interesting thing that happens during these episodes is that after Baku's dad's restaurant gets threatened by Baekjin, Baku is seen wearing no red and instead in only a black and white shirt under his school uniform. Losing the color that represents him but also I think implying that he's back in the past when he and Baekjin were "friends" (or lovers if you ask me, they give off toxic ex vibes), since he's in Baekjin's colors (or lack thereof). Just thought I would share bc I found it really cool.
