What is BluBerreyMaps?

BluBerreyMaps is a creative project that focuses on city map building for DnD and other TTRPGs. The goal was to create a new way to make city maps that could be much quicker than using other solutions, while retaining a lot of customizability and visual fidelity!
(in more simple terms: make pretty, custom city maps, FAST!)

How does this work?

I came up with a modular tile-based system that (as of now) works best with DungeonDraft!
with this system you can lay out a city map in about 20-30 minutes (even big capital city maps) and then if you want to, customize it even further with single assets that you can place on your tile map.
This way you can strike a beautiful middle-ground between custom work (that usually takes days or weeks) and generated maps (which let's face it, are not the prettiest)

What is DungeonDraft?

Dungeondraft is a mainly battle-map making software developed by Megasploot. It has loads of features to create intricate customized battle-maps and add unique asset packs made by creators like Crosshead, 2minutetabletop and many others!

Why do you use DungeonDraft?

For multiple reasons. One: I really like the software and have been using it for quite a while before I came up with my idea. I knew what it is capable of, regarding it's built in systems. Two: I haven't had the time/funds to make my own. I really want to and it's constantly on the backburner. Expect further updates on this soon(TM)!
The main things that makes DungeonDraft so nice to use for the tiles is it's grid system and snapping feature. Without these it's significantly more tedious to assemble a tile map in any software.
The other thing is scaling and exporting. DungeonDraft is made for map creation. It's simple to use UI and Exporting window is much easier to use and explain than any other image editing software.
And last but not least: Paths & Brushes. Once you use them, you'll understand! They unlock tons of flexibility and creativity!

What to do if I don't have DungeonDraft?

Well, if you can afford to get it and plan on using it long-term, get it! You won't regret it! But if you don't have the means or the funds to purchase, worry not! I offer everything in form of PNG files! You can use image editing softwares (anything with a snapping feature, really...) and off you go! (paint works, even:)

I don't like Patreon but I really want to get your packs, is there an other way?

Do you draw custom maps?

Yes I do, but I draw the line at smaller towns. I simply don't have the time to make anything larger as it would take up way too much of my time. I plan to do more in the future, but for now, I am very limited on this front. Contact me if you have any requests for custom map work!
