CoraLaw Fic Wip (Dofcoralaw implied)

I wanted to show you the first fragment (I still have to edit the rest since a kind beta reader is helping me because English is not my language, sorry 😭)

It seemed like hours, but they've only been running for a few minutes, a few agonizing minutes. Law's adrenaline was pumping as he was carrying an unconscious Doflamingo with difficulty, practically crawling while Corazon limped after him.

The gash in Doflamingo's temple is still dripping blood, soaking the sleeve of Law's sweatshirt. They had beaten him in a brawl with some people while they were fleeing from a horde of zombies that had ambushed them and they'd only barely managed to escape.

They needed to find cover so that they could go unnoticed in silence and heal the wound on his head. Law panted, stumbling under Doflamingo's weight, then looked back to make sure Corazon was following him.

"Cora-san, over here!" Law nodded his head, pointing to a door as they turned a corner.

They entered quickly and Cora closed the door and wedged a chair against the knob, just in case, as they climbed up what looked like a building under construction. There was only floor and walls and no windows with some work tables and little else. They climbed up enough to be able to hide and when he thought they were completely safe from the zombies Law fell to his knees, exhausted.

His ears were ringing and his muscles burned with the need to rest, but he still managed to carefully set Doffy down on the ground. He opens his backpack and takes out some improvised healing tools, then takes off his sweatshirt, folding it under Doflamingo's head, using it as a pillow.

They had been lucky to pass by a supermarket and be able to pick up supplies. Soon, Law had closed Doffy's wound and bandaged it, feeling relieved that Doffy was unconscious and couldn't feel the needle pricks. 

Law sighed as he finished cleaning the wound carefully. Law's fingers trembled slightly, his mind starting to race wondering if they had collected all the food when they ran out of the previous shelter or nonsense like if it was going to rain today.

With all the adrenaline rushing through his veins, Law cursed himself when he realized that he had forgotten the most important thing in his life until he heard a thud and his head turned to see Corazon collapsing against one of the walls panting with a painful expression. Law tried to get up, but his legs gave out. He fell to his knees before he could take a step.

“Cora-san!”

Law crawled towards him until he was level with his face, his hands cupping his cheeks while he straddled Cora's thighs. Law could see the paleness on his face and how he was starting to sweat profusely. 

“Hey hey!”
