I’m in the surgical waiting room right now—my mom is in pre-op. I’ll be updating this post as things progress so you can stay in the loop. Thanks for your patience and support—it means a lot.

UPDATE # 2
The surgery went well—no complications, which is a huge relief.
She’ll be staying in the hospital for at least a week, possibly longer, depending on recovery.
We still don’t know what kind of tumor it is. The biopsy results should come back in 2–3 weeks, and we’ll know more then.
We’ll also know how to attack whatever it is after the biopsy tells us what type of tumor it is.
Thanks again for the kind messages and support—it’s been a comfort during all of this.
