Whenever I do a race on your extension for any map, the AI start racing a lap late. Any idea on how to fix this? please help.

2023-11-28 14:44:14 +0000 UTCThis shouldn't happen unless you moved abu_dhabi_2021_chq.ini from extension\config\tracks to the tracks extension folder so its loading both CHQ lights and pyyers lights together. Pyyers extension explicitly doesn't load CHQ's extension file that contains CHQ's light fix. [INCLUDE: extension/config/tracks/loaded/abu_dhabi_2021_chq.ini] ACTIVE = 0

2023-11-27 14:26:05 +0000 UTCI found a simple solution. I disabled the light fix V2 in extension of 2023 track layout, and with the new light fix published by CHQ last day everything is ok. But if i activate the light fix of the last 2.2 extension, it didnt work. In 2022 extension, lights are perfect. I dont think this is only my problem. I have more than 600 tracks, and no one did this. Fenryr Losail run without problem, same for singapore, jeddah and even the new fenryr bahrain. 2021 layout of abu dhabi CHQ work well too like the 2022 extension. And like i said, this problem doesnt exist in version 2.1 of the extension.

Can you please delete completely the folder: [assettocorsa\content\tracks/abu_dhabi_2021_chq] and these files (if they exist): [assettocorsa\extension\config\tracks\abu_dhabi_2021_chq.ini] [assettocorsa\extension\config\tracks\loaded\abu_dhabi_2021_chq.ini] Then reinstall the track and the extension

2023-11-27 09:45:50 +0000 UTCI use last 0.2.0 CSP and PP Filter is PureRealism (sometimes i use PureSimple). All tracks work well except the New Abu Dhabi. But i think i'm not the only one with problem because i see CHQ released a light fix today

2023-11-27 09:11:10 +0000 UTCIt's a fantastic work in general, like usual - But i think your 2.2 version was not a good idea for light config. Now, i've massive FPS drop (it was not the case in version 2.1). Light became just incredibly horrible. track became so bright that i see all objects white now. In version 2.1 i have no problem at all. I think you should prefer to stay with light config of your 2.1 version. Track is far better with this config than the new. How can i reload the old config please ? Now it's just undrivable.

2023-11-26 12:54:50 +0000 UTCJust checked and you're right about T3 (which is actually T5) markers. For T6 though, they are at the correct place: I have counted the kerbs colors switch and the 50 Brake marker is exactly at the 10th red kerb before the corner 😉

2023-11-26 11:34:44 +0000 UTCI also think the same problem occurs at T6, the 50m board cannot be right, if you look at real footage the cars can easily make the corner, in your extension it's too late.

2023-11-26 11:17:27 +0000 UTCThere's a problem with the braking boards at T3; the 100m braking board is actually supposed to be the 50m board, you can see it if you look at the footage from the track, and also from judging that you can absolutely not make the corner from your 50m board, even though you are supposed to be able to make it.

Until I discovered that this “yas_marina_2021” track was just a shameful unauthorized rip of ChiQuiFreaky track and my extensions: it uses the exact same models and textures. That’s why I won’t promoted it here. And anyway ChiQuiFreaky told me his new public version will soon be released. Just be patient 🙂

And if I do use it and then add your new lights fix on top of it it completely murders performance. I've renabled the original light fix and disabled your new one and all looks good

2023-11-25 10:57:16 +0000 UTCTrack is visible. Light emission from light poles etc. is not. I have the default CHQ0.8 track + extension 1.2.1 + extension 2.0 installed. CSP 1.79. (I cannot use CSP 2.0 because it messes with my button mapping and controller settings. And it is far from stable.)
