WEC 2022 & WEC 2023 layouts updated to 2023 extensions standards
Definitely a big week-end for you race addicts: two races: one in Silverstone and one in Monza!
And so obviously: two extensions! π
Yesterday it was the Silverstone F1 extension and here is the second part of this doubleheader weekend: the Monza WEC extension!
It includes the all new 2023 layout, reproducing the atmosphere of the Monza 6 Hours 2023 this weekend (2022 version is also included and has been completely updated)
Here are the new features:
2023 billboards (including Goodyear 125 years special)
2023 animated boards
2023 fence boards
2023 sideline signs
2023 brake markers
2023 grounds & grass (including WEC ground in parabolica)
Updated green kerbs design
Rolex Clock
Bridges, signs and brake markers optimizations for both layouts
both 2023 & 2022 layouts use the new common extension system

Black surface issue fixed.
(for whatever reason and for some users only, monza.ini is absent in folder assettocorsa\extension\config\tracks and it shouldn't)
If file is there: no issue, if not, it creates the issue
A workaround to the absent file has been put in update 4.6
Comments relative to the issue will now be cleaned to avoid misguiding users

Thank you! Regarding trees, I note your remarks and will see what I can do for the F1 Grand Prix extension release (and will update the WEC one obviously if that's the case π)

2023-07-13 16:30:07 +0000 UTCThanks for that amazing extension! There is no possibility to reduce the amount of trees at the Lesmos as they are in real life, is there? I stood there for the first hour of the race and between the two corners there's only a few trees left so the little straight between them is pretty much without shadows
