A completely new F1 2023 extension for Jeddah (ChiQuiFreaky version)

Some of you seem to have issues with lights.

The thing with lights is that it is different for each of your configuration and CSP / SOL / Pure / Post ProcessFilter mix creates a LOT of possibilities πŸ˜…

So there is absolutely no "perfect solution". One solution would fit someone but it would totally failed on someone else config, especially at night.

The best thing to do is to play with settings and configs and to know what to look for.
What can help you is :

Hi Christopher. It is probably an error due to wrong track version. Please reinstall the track to latest version (I think it is v0.7.5) then the extension

Hello pyyer, whenever I do a session on this Jeddah track with the F1 2023 extension (I have already installed the newest update to 2.1) it always gives me ERROR: Reverb node does not exist:AC_REVERB_TUNEL_025. Can you help me to fix this? Thank you

Only track jeddah_2021_chq version 0.7 or 0.7.5 has 26 pits so if you do have this version just edit the file: assettocorsa\content\tracks\jeddah_2021_chq\ui\jeddah_f1_2023\ui_track.json and set the value "pitboxes" value to "26" (it won't work with a bigger number though)

Is it possible to have 26 pit boxes like in the original track layout? Maybe a specific file I can copy & paste from the original onto the extension?

Hi Mohammed What is the issue? Common issues come from too old CSP version or track and/or extensions not properly installed. Please follow post instructions carefully and reinstall track and extension if needed.

I figured the AC reverb out. I also had to mess with the Track lighting alittle. I think I got it looking pretty good now.

Having some issues with this track. I installed fresh version 0.60, then the extension. I get this error and game crashes? Critical error: ERROR: Reverb node does not exist:AC_REVERB_TUNEL_025

I've been playing around with this a bit more, the main issue with the Light Series I believe is the colour. Just had some feedback about the T4 issue and it will be fixed in next update (if you use the [F7] free cam you will see the Pirelli wall painting is now a meter behind the new wall position) Regarding T22 curb, I cannot promise anything soon but obviously I add your suggestion to the to-do list πŸ˜‰

Thanks for the update Pyyer. Just 2 things. I notice that the inside of turn 4 has been updated with v0.7.5 of the circuit. It protrudes more and I noticed that the Pirelli logo is missing on it (at least for me - I have just installed the latest update). I was also wondering if there would be any plans to add the sausage like curb during the 2023 weekend on the exit of turn 22? Your efforts are appreciated as always by the way!

If you are on 0.75 try taking the surfaces.ini file from jeddah_2021_chq\data and putting it in tracks\jeddah_2021_chq\jeddah_f1_2023\data

The owner of the track mod CHiQuiFReaKy has had some feedback about their latest public version (v1.7.5) looking overexposed for most users. It's a result of a change to Pure I believe. They're going to look at adjusting the lighting values and updating the circuit again. So if people want to hold off, there might be a change to the track mod incoming in the near future. I guess then Pyyer might work some more magic and accomodate for any changes made to lighting :)

Anyone who is having issues with overexposure at night, in the original config file (jeddah_2021_chq\extension\extconfig.ini), set all the lights series to ACTIVE=0 and set the LIT_MULT=1.0 instead of 1.5 and see if thats any better. I don't think Pyyers light fix is properly disabling the original light config so its just adding more and more light. Try setting the LIGHT_SERIES in tracks\jeddah_2021_chq\extension\extconfig.ini to ACTIVE=0

0.7 is for pay. 0.6 is for free on YT channel. I'm using the second one.

Disabled the active light series in jeddah_chq-lightfix.ini and it runs soooo much better. Is a little on the dark side in places, but I'll take that for an almost solid 90fps all the way around. Food for thought.

Nice work but damn thats bright in places, in car instruments are completely washed out. FPS still drops into the toilet on the main straight, and when you start on the inward part of the lap and all the buildings show up on the left but its just about driveable in VR.

A very good work but... For me by night, race against 19 drivers (RSS Formula Hybrid 2022 with 2K skins) FPS are a little unstable (from 65 to 100) with some lag but in generale drivable (CSP 0.179 and latest version of SOL + Pure and resolution of 2560x1440). Depend by photo filter but in general are too bright, only two filters works good. I think that the drop in performance is due to the flashing of the many street lamps. In practice mode, alone on track during day, FPS from 72 to 144...mmm...not good...In conclusion a very good improvement respect last your extension but I hope you are working also on Tyrone version.
