Small Changes

Over the past few days, I’ve been making a few changes to some pages of Saki’s Unusual Life – Chapter One
What changes did I make?
On some pages, I redrew a few of Saki’s expressions (NOT VERY NOTICEABLE).
On some pages, there were narrator dialogues explaining things that, in my opinion, didn’t really need an explanation, so I removed them (NOT VERY NOTICEABLE).
On the first pages, I redrew the speech bubbles and updated them to the font I currently use (NOTICEABLE).
On some pages, I changed Saki’s and Ayumi’s dialogues to make them more consistent with what I have planned for the future (VERY NOTICEABLE).
I changed Saki’s character description on page 65 to better match her character (VERY NOTICEABLE).
I changed the comic’s synopsis on the cover (VERY NOTICEABLE).

Why did I make these changes?
As I’ve mentioned before, when I first started drawing the comic, I didn’t have a very clear idea of what I wanted to do with my characters in the future. Because of that, some dialogues in the previous version interfered with the direction I want to take the story. That’s all.
The story itself hasn’t changed much with the new dialogues. I simply wanted the comic to feel more coherent going into the next chapter. I know that rewriting parts of a comic can sometimes be counterproductive, but in this case, I feel these changes were necessary, and I hope they make sense in the long run.
And well, if you’d like to take a look at these changes, or if you want to read the comic in a more comfortable way (even if it’s not the best one), I’ve just added Chapter One of Saki’s Unusual Life to a collection here on the platform. ^^
