They really deserved the title “Hitsville U.S.A.”! David Ruffin and Eddie Kendricks have such incredible voices. When they sing together, it’s magic! Just think about the song “You’re My Everything.” Kendricks’s soaring falsetto hits you right in the feels, and then Ruffin comes in with his rich, raspy tenor that adds so much power and intensity. Even Marvin Gaye once said of Ruffin, “I heard a strength that my voice lacked.” So go ahead, MJ! Dive into the world of the Temptations and explore other amazing Motown artists and groups from that time. There’s always a first time for everything, right? Enjoy!

I was about 4-5 when it came out and I remember it like it was yesterday when my grandfather popped the VHS tape in to record it. I came on the Patreon when I saw you reacted to this. The Temptations were a big part of Motown, which took place right here in my city of Detroit.
