A Question

I'm considering in the future (and for Girl in My Mirror) after a month of Patreon exclusivity) popping comics on my itch.io

Do you guys think that'd be okay? You get the first crack at it; all patrons can read the comic ANYWAY after a month. Also, It will likely be slightly more expensive on itch. like 10$

Itch.io after a month is a great way to advertise. I've known people who even release stuff FREE after a month.

I tend to treat Patreon as an opportunity for early access and direct support for the creator. So if a creator later on decides to put their content on other stores or offers it up for free later, I am good with that, since I got the pleasure of accessing it first. My concern with keeping everything behind a Patreon paywall is that you end up limiting you exposure and potentially the content gets lost to the archives that nobody gets to see.

If you can get some extra scratch on the side with itchio, I say go for it.

If it is on itch means I am probably buying it and supporting you on pateron

I don’t support creators for exclusivity. Release your work in whatever way works for you.

I think there's a way to tie your Patreon to your itch.io so that patrons can get them via itch.io as well.

I think that's a great idea! Sometimes folks are discouraged from joining patreon since they don't have the money for a reoccurring subscription ^^

I mean most ppl I know who do comics do it that way.
