New Series Drop: Good Guy Necromancer!

Merry Chirstmas to those who celebrate and happy holidays to those who don't. In any case, I celebrate Christmas, so I prepared a little present for you. The first ten chapters of my new series are now available on Patreon. Ho ho ho!

I'm super excited about this. Good Guy Necromancer is a series I started before even Road to Mastery. I then put it on hold because RtM blew up and I needed the money, but I kept getting ideas for it the whole time. Now that I can return, I'm so pumped I could shout.

The first ten chapters will be published in two-minutes intervals right after this post. I turned off notifications for them so you don't get spammed. Before you go on, however, let me introduce this series to you:

Good Guy Necromancer is about an unconventionally kind necromancer. It's wholesome, fun, and adventurous -- I like to call it a slice-of-death adventure. The genre is progression fantasy, so you can expect battles/stakes/power progression as usual. However, it has less action than Road to Mastery and is more slow-paced overall. If that's not your cup of tea, totally fine. I don't drink tea either.

This is not the real synopsis, of course, just one tailored for you guys. I'll add the actual blurb (work in progress) at the end of this post for anyone interested.

On to practical stuff: I'll start uploading the story on RR sometime before New Year. When I do, I'll post another batch of chapters for you guys, then post one chapter a day for a month before slowing down. At that point, the regular posting schedule will be a little slower than RtM's so I can invest in quality over quantity. Probably. Unless I'm super fast. I'll resume billing on my Patreon page starting Christmas (a present for me?? Oh, guys, you didn't have to!)

Necromancers are murderous, desecrating, unsavory wizards. Except for Jerry.

Jerry raises undead friends, not minions. He makes them shoes, teaches them games, and cares for them like they care for him. All he wants is a place to call home.

Unfortunately, that's a challenge for a necromancer. Ostracized by his fellow villagers, hunted by bandits, and watched by the Royal Guard's least elite squad, Jerry is called to balance creating a lovely home with unleashing death and destruction on his enemies.

But larger forces are at play. Wizard supremacists tour the Kingdom, Archmages enact devious plans, and the world needs Jerry more than his village does. Adventure calls—one he's determined to enjoy. Death is overrated, anyway.

As for his home... Nobody should stay where they're not wanted. Maybe the real home is the friends we raise along the way.
