Whispers of Desire: Misaki's Path Development Summary and Future Plans

Hi everyone!

The intro content for all the main characters is officially finished! You should now have a good sense of the overall story direction. I hope you continue to enjoy and have fun with my games. I'll summarize the development for each route and talk about where we go from here.

First, Takeshi: This was the first route with a fast NTR progression. I decided to make it quick because I didn't want the game to drag on too much, as there are still other routes to cover. Although he looks like a generic NTR bad guy, I made an effort to show his vulnerable side, the motives behind his actions, and his obsession with Misaki.

Moving on to Otabe: His route content has been revised a lot because he's our protagonist's friend. His storyline is about Misaki's slow corruption and the unlocking of a new side of her personality.

About, Ryo: While he seems like the typical playboy who steals a girlfriend, I didn't want him to be a flat villain. His relationship development might feel similar to Takeshi's early on, but you'll see a clear difference later: Takeshi is about Misaki's surrender, but Ryo's is about a relationship that develops gradually.

Now for our main character, Kohei. You're probably wondering when he'll return to the story. I can roughly say it will be early next year, starting with an update to his Pure Route. However, the NTR content from Kohei's perspective will likely require the other NTR routes to progress a bit further before we can play them through his POV.

Moving on to the future development process, I've decided to advance one route significantly before switching to others. For example, I'll update Takeshi's route a couple of times, then briefly switch to small updates for other characters before going back to Takeshi's route again. I will alternate like this and try to complete one route first. And I have decided that Takeshi's route will be the first one to be completed.

For the artwork, I've decided to draw almost everything myself, but I do hire people for certain parts, such as the background art in this post. Isn't the aquarium beautiful? I really like it. Because of that, I'm sharing this wallpaper with everyone who reads this far. Thank you all very much for supporting me until now.

A quick update on version v0.1.5: We're continuing Takeshi's route, which will include at least two animated scenes. The update should drop around the end of this month.
