(Early Access Animation) Katarina x Lux

"Leading refugee mages to safety was a difficult task. Demacian patrols combed the lands top to bottom, both by land and by air - and with twice the frequency now that the king had been slain. And frankly, Luxanna was running out of places to hide them as well as food to feed them with.

Just as Katarina had planned. She had been stalking Lux ever since she left the capital with the mages in tow, she had destroyed and hauled off food and left traces that would lead them off the safer paths and have to avoid patrols to the point where they could barely move. Then, when Lux was at her most desperate, she struck.

Not with her daggers, for once. No, she knew the mages - and Luxanna herself - could make for fine Noxians. She struck with some carefully placed words, offering a way out for Lux and her mages. She'd lead them to Noxus, where they'd be fed, clothed and never again told they were abberations. It's a disgusting notion for a Demacian to join the enemy, but desperation has a way of eroding loyalty. Especially if what you're loyal to despises you.

Running out of options, Lux agreed. As did most of the mages, and with some skillful maneuvering and a Crownguard at her side, soon enough they were all in Noxus.

There, Lux intended to stay for a while to make sure everyone was settling in and Katarina hadn't led them to be slaughtered. But they were all treated surprisingly well, Lux included.

Really well, actually... Katarina treated her better than her family did back in Demacia. On top of that, she had helped her friends, even saved her life at one point. And there was something else about her... A fire that Lux had long suppressed within herself. She wasn't afraid to express herself, or take what action where she wanted. Something Lux had struggled with all her life.

Frankly, it was kind of hot. She felt like a gateway into a life unlived, and when she was next to Kat it felt like the world was at her fingertips. And not just that, she herself was also really hot, to the point Lux would sometimes find herself drifting off during their talks, her eyes exploring her leather outfit that was tight and bulging in just the right places...

They were due to meet again today, to discuss her departure from Noxus. But she knew she wasn't going to leave.

'Just a couple more weeks, then I'll go back...' Lux had told her. But as Katarina silently crossed the tension filled air between them and locked their lips together, they both knew she'd be staying for much, much longer...

Kata Lux is done at last!

I admit I went very overboard with the angles on this one. I already knew that extra angles added a lot more extra work but I suppose I added them because I didn't really know what else to do with the animation to spice things up a bit, since I had a severe lack of vision with the project other than the idea of "Kat plaps and creams Lux in a mating press".

Which I suppose is the core idea and I did pull that off, but usually I have a more solid vision of how I want it to look and things I can add to the project before I get to work, which wasn't the case here.

Anyway. It's done now, next time around I'm going to be a lot more careful with adding angles, I've also resolved to update any models I plan to make a big animation with -before- getting started (which is kind of a no-brainer in hindsight), as halfway through this animation I updated Kat's model but didn't put it to use here since I'd have to redo a lot of work that was tied to the old model to make it all work, and it just didn't seem worth it when it was already so delayed. So the next time I do KatLux they'll both likely have updated models which should spare me a lot of trouble.
