Hey everyone and merry christmas/happy new year!
Here are some WIPs of my current projects and a couple of my signature walls of text in case you're curious about what's goin on. Currently all of the "primary" animations I have in the works have climax/cum-sequences, so I definitely have a lot of work to do. I'm gonna try to fill the gaps between these big ones with some quickies, which I won't show wips for as they're more of a spontaneous release type of thing. =)
Irelia POV
So, first things first, the poll winner. For this one I'm looking to push myself to do something a bit more advanced POV-wise than just an endless loop. Specifically, a goal I have with this one is a POV climax sequence. So far I've just been trying out a few different concepts, trying to fit a few miscellaneous things to see how they'll affect the pacing of the whole thing etc. I have a prototype intro that may or may not be scrapped, we'll see. But either way I think it's good practice to try doing bigger things even if I don't end up keeping it, since I'd like to do much bigger projects regularly sometime. The animation still has a ways to go, but the framework is in place.
Also, pube update!
I figured I'd improve the pubes system I got going since I find myself enjoying the characters having them more and more. So previously my way of doing pubes had a little workaround where they were attached in an indirect way through what I charmingly called a "Hairball", which technically sat on/under the mesh and had the hair system on it. But now I've upgraded it so that the pubes are actually on the body itself, which means the hair properly deforms with the body and allows me to put and customize the pubes basically wherever I want. It's pretty great.
Ahri x Lux
This one's a commission from KIESL, featuring Ahri throatfucking Lux and then blasting deep in her throat. Don't think I have much more to say about this one, her tails are giving me a bit of trouble, but the rest of the animation is coming along quite smoothly. Got some practice making outdoor scenes here too, which I feel is a weak point of mine, so it's always nice to have an opportunity to improve there. This was also a good rite of passage for the animation structure/planning I've come to settle on recently, and so far it's working great.
Oh, and if you're wondering why or how I've taken comms without any public announcement about it, it's because it was kind of spontaneous. I'm possibly going to start setting up a system to take public comms after I've finished the massive comm I talk about below.
My prediction is that this is the one I'll finish first, followed by either Irelia POV or Jinx x Nida.
Jinx x Nida
So, this one my largest project/comm to date, and I've been working on this for many many months now. It features an intro, many different changing poses, a climax, physics both manual and simulated and a helluva lot of different camera angles. I've been working and chipping away at this one in between all the monthly projects I do, and its definitely been a massive challenge.
When I first accepted this one I definitely thought it'd be easier than it ended up being, I'm chalking that up to me simply not having enough experience making bigger animations, so I probably overestimated my ability to create them. There were a few months of just stumbling around trying to organize the whole thing and figure out the best way to do it properly, trying to speed up the progress again and again but slowly realizing that it's gonna take a while. The commissioner was and is very much patient and understanding though and I cannot thank them enough for that, I've definitely gotten a lot wiser after accepting this one, and I'm gonna be a lot more picky about the workloads I take on in the future.
Currently I've been in the polishing stage for what feels like forever, though I am getting into some sound mixing and considering which VA's to hire to voice it. Still some work to go though.
