What a relief! I was seriously worried Arnold would stubbornly refuse to let someone dictate his build and piss away his once in a lifetime chance.

2026-02-10 00:28:04 +0000 UTCIs it possible to buy access to the noble class? I recall something about sponsoring a new village, but idk if that actually gave access to the class. We've been told that you can technically gain the King class through a few methods, so I assume noble is possible. Just not sure how, if it is indeed possible

2026-02-09 23:51:31 +0000 UTCIirc, Arnold was going to help level up thousands of farmers down south by giving them exp while they stood on top of him (and thus on his farm via the farm manor ring) in order to pass his 4th threshold.

2026-02-09 23:40:36 +0000 UTCI'm trying to reconcile this what what book 1 said. Per page 381 "Nobles gained a point in every attribute when they leveled with four to use at their discretion" There are 8 base attributes (plus luck making nine), so one in everything plus 4 free attributes makes 12 - but the description here is that by it being your second (or higher) class, the already-spent attributes replace the base ones and the extras are all free attributes. (I also think that Kings are a tier above nobles, with a vague memory of them getting even more stats, but I don't have a citation right this minute and that may be a different series)

2026-02-09 23:33:30 +0000 UTCIsn't the 10,000 heritage seeds how Arnold plans on passing through his *fourth* Farmer threshold? Not his fifth. He's thus far done three - 25, 50, 75 - and he needs to do the level 100 threshold. Edit: I was wrong. Looked up the heritage seed mention in book 2 - page 413. "I spoke to the owner of the farm I purchased your heritage seed from. She has the same first threshold boon as you do. She would be willing to give you 10,000 apple heritage seeds for a great boon for her granddaughter. Those seeds, once planted, are worth enough farming points to gain access to every farming upgrade available, not including leveling your fields, and will allow you to pass through your fifth threshold when you reach level 125."
