Library Cleaning WIP 14

This week I ended up animating Lily approaching the mouse girls under the couch with a ground shaking effect! I think some parts need a little more shaking, so i might update that!
For next week I want to animate Lily grabbing at least of the mouse girls and maybe starting the swallowing animation for one of them. I am still thinking about how I want to animate Lily grabbing that mouse girl that was running. But the other one is just standing there and will be easy to get.
Also here is a preview of what ill be working on for next week!

Yea for the mouse girl standing still,my idea was that she was like a deer in headlights, just kinda frozen not knowing what to do. For the shaky camera, its my first time trying it, so I appreciate the feedback! It's not super realistic in my opinion, but I like how it emphasizes the size difference between the characters!

2024-07-22 23:27:41 +0000 UTCThat face from the still is terrifying, reminding me of the Saitama "Found You". Could be from the lighting in the shot though. The scurrying mouse definitely has "running background character energy" while the one standing still, maybe acting as a lookout or something, is like a deer in headlights. Maybe she opted to stay and hoped that if Lily finds one other mouse, the runner will have time to warn others hiding or scrounging elsewhere, or be that she'll be content with the amount she will have ingested. A sacrifice essentially. Edit: Just watched the full bit from the link, which combines with the previous post, and saw that the runner was seen going under the couch. So there goes my initial hypothesis as I forgot to check all the plot points. Might also be just me overthinking it, but I think the shaky cam is a bit strange, even if the camera/POV is being scaled to the mice instead of simply a low camera angle, unless Lilly is stomping near an area she thinks the mice are hiding as a way of getting them to panic and thus scurry to make themselves known to her. It's not bad, but sometimes I wonder about its inclusion and implementation in works featuring it.

Also, the mouse girl that’s running might be a little trickier for Lily to catch than the one that’s just standing there, but I’m certain that, as Kirie’s pet cat girl, she’ll be very smart and catch her prey. And if we have the POV of one of these mouse girls… well, it won’t be as great as the Maria POV animation due to Lily not having her insides modelled in like Maria, but it’ll be worth it the way it is.
