This Week in the Forest! #72

OOP! Sorry for the late post! I get these weird eye-strain days sometimes and I'm basically forced to go fully blind for like, a day or two while it heals Dx! It's kinda lame, but good introspection and chill time! I was dabbling on the piano a good amount this time for that. That shit's hard, anyone who can play piano well is a god.

OK! Onto the game! Here's what we've been up to Starting with a Word from Vixel!

4/11 weekly report:

Heya floofs! Steady week for me. In the upgrade project I finished going through all the scenes and fixing broken parallax layers & a few missing scripts. Working now to improve and standardize the scripts and design of all our NPC critters so that's as maintainable as possible going forward.

Decided to add the first part of Act 3 to our old Act 2 project since that's currently more stable than the upgrade project. Finished modeling the cave interior and part of the first Act 3 quest! Will polish this up and have it ready for our April build. Boop you soon! <3

On my side, I've been in contact with another round of Visiting/Permanent critters! From left to right we got Kazzypoof, Sparky, Nila Foxy, Noct, Sera, Saeraii, and Kalu! (These are the patreons, not necessarily the critter's names)

I've got a few more fun ones sketched out too, some of them are REAAAALLY small, so those will have more life in their portraits to make up for it!

I still wanna do a bit of an illustrative story for this event, haven't gotten to working on that just yet. I think I'll be pulling back to some Act 3 stuff though since we're heading in that direction :>
