Poll Drafts - August 2024

Hey all, as I mentioned (and some of you may remember), from now on I will be sharing drafts of the polls so that people have a chance to review them before they officially launch. This is basically to be as fair as possible and to tune the polls to be more balanced if needed. Hopefully there won't be many problems going forward though as I tried harder to account for popularity.

As always, I built the polls using suggestions and past contenders. I select the characters from your suggestions mostly randomly but I also use some discretion if I feel a character is too outside my following to get any support.

For this post I doodled every character... I thought it'd by fun but maybe it just ended up looking cruddy despite the time investment lol. If people like it I'll continue it though since I feel it's kinda unique.

Anyway, here we go:

 ATLUS Poll A

First off, you'll notice the Persona polls have changed to ATLUS. This is because the pool of persona girls isn't that large and certain characters like the Catherine girls naturally fit in.

(As seen later, I'm not counting vanillaware as atlus lol)

Second, this poll is themed around swimsuits. While I won't always do this, the ATLUS polls will be more likely to be themed because again... limited pool of characters.

I think the only contentious picks here would be Sae and Katherine. They don't tend to get as much art as the other girls but their popularity is higher in the west (and among you). Sae has won before but I think it's been long enough now.

 ATLUS Poll B

This one probably doesn't need much discussion. I think all these characters have the same chance generally... or at least better than having to face off against main P3-5 girls lol

 General Poll A

The first general poll features characters that are generally really popular. Anby of course is new but has a lot of content already due to the ZZZ zeitgeist. There is still a very clear chance of a Makima sweep but there should be enough here to make the choice hard for some of you at least.

And finally, the second general poll is for the more niche characters. Hopefully no issues here either!

Alright, so that's it. Feel free to voice any concerns if you have them. I would like to have the polls up on Monday though so don't wait!

Final thing, with 4 separate polls and needing to let super fans vote twice, I'll probably move the actual polls to google forms. Wish I didn't need to but it should be better for everyone that way lol.
