I just realized that kofmo was "fine" until they opened his door and the light came in. Then he became aggressive and started his rampage. Makes me wonder how long he had been abstracted before they checked on him.

2025-10-02 17:43:20 +0000 UTCI think my favorite theory for “why can they only not remember their names” is that it’s like the swearing, because it’s a family friendly game, and kids shouldn’t use their real names online. (and it’s definitely at least programmed to be online because of the terms and conditions bit for character names in ep 1 - you don’t need that for a non-online game.)

But it already existing for his other idea can also be a factor in him cheapening it, yeah.. he does like to reuse npc's after all.. who's to say he won't reuse assets?

So it’s theorized that Kinger and his wife Queenie entered the circus together, since they both ended up as Chess pieces!

2025-09-13 00:04:22 +0000 UTCThe two main readings of the Gangle scene are either A: She has an iconic Truck-Kun isekai moment, fulfilling an internal dream and letting go of the “mask.” Reaching freedom, even though it’s scary. Or (TW FOR SI) She experiences the manic euphoria that comes from long time depression sufferers deciding to “leave.” Or just make bad decisions in general because they’ve decided nothing matters. Feeling less happy and more light, like the weight of life is off their shoulders. And the real happiness of her arc comes from after she comes down from her episode and realizes things DO matter, including herself. It’s not confirmed but the bipolar implications & personal relating incline me toward the second.

Theory from episode 3 Since Kinger studied computer science and has been here the longest, that the Amazing Digital Circus might have originally been a game in development and he was one of developers but something went wrong and the game trapped people inside.
