Commission #2 down! Well, Asta (Honkai: Star Rail) is determined to not go down without a fight (or hop)... but make no mistake, she will be taking a one-way trip to long-term archival! >:)
Textless and standalone alts, along with my initial concept sketches included in the 'Asta Extras' subfolder of August's Dropbox.

Also attached and in the DB is a warmup pic inspired by a recent outing I took to a workshop/seminar about mummification at a local dungeon! Aer is wrapped up pretty much exactly like the sub in the presentation, while the dom explained various safety methods like the classic "squeaky ball so the sub can safeword even while gägged", along with some stuff I hadn't thought about, like using clear pallet wrap so that you can see the sub's skin changing colour, frequent use of a digital temperature gun to keep an eye on overheating, and a pulse oximeter on a finger or toe to be aware of sudden heartrate changes.
Of course, Wossy and Aeria live in a fantasy world where they (and we!) can indulge our fantasies of impossibly layered gägs and overnight mummifications, and never have to worry about overheating, dehydration, cramps, etc. So I'll still be drawing the same stuff I've always done, but it's still nice to at least know the IRL best practices (though maybe we can start including a little temp gun as an easter egg in the background, kinda like how it's sometimes nice to include a pair of safety shears nearby).
P.S. Would the pulse thingie work as well through tights? I wasn't sure, so that's why Aer is bare-legged today. :p
P.P.S. The dungeon owners also let me take lots of pictures of all the fancy gear, chairs/benches/etc! It'll be really helpful when drawing scenes with characters like Reby who canonically own and play using that kind of equipment.
