Scene 19:
Checkmate
---
"Whoa, he even has a name!" Igor exclaimed, genuinely impressed.
Professor Gangreen stepped forward, addressing the newly formed agent. "I am Professor Gangreen. This is my assistant, Igor. And that's Jason and Unit 4."
Igor, ever curious, continued, "So, um, Mr. White, are you a real estate agent or are you in the insurance business?"
"I am a special operations agent," Pawn White replied, his voice clear and precise.
"What kind of special operations are we talking here?" Igor inquired, a mischievous glint in his eye.
Pawn White glanced at a small holoprojector Igor was watching, displaying a muted news feed. "Please allow me to demonstrate," Pawn White offered.
"You may proceed," Gangreen authorized, a hint of curiosity in his tone.
Pawn White picked up a nearby tablet and used it to control the projector. He enlarged the live news feed so everyone in the lab could see it, then added another split screen showing the drone's live footage over the gate. He began to input commands onto the tablet.
The drone immediately sent out a frequency, jamming the reporters' signals. Instantly, the live news feeds on the screen dissolved into static, displaying "NO SIGNAL."
"Hey, what happened to the news?" Igor exclaimed, astounded. "Did you just jam their signals?"
"I can also target any one of them and make their cerebral veins burst with the drone," Pawn White stated calmly, his gaze confident. "Would you like me to proceed?"
Igor's eyes widened. He quickly looked at Jason. "You better close your eyes, kid," he mumbled. "You don't want to see this." Jason, his arm already tight around Unit 4, snuggled his head deeper onto the soldier's neck. Unit 4 hugged him tighter, kissing his hair protectively.
"Thank you, Agent," Gangreen interrupted, his voice firm. "Jamming is enough for now."
"As you wish, Professor," Pawn White replied, his expression cold.
---
"Igor," Gangreen stated, handing him the remaining chess piece tomatoes, "here, take the rest of the tomatoes. Go ahead with the transformation."
"Yes, thank you, Professor!" Igor replied, eager to redeem himself. "I will make sure nothing explodes in the chambers this time." Gangreen simply shook his head, a faint hint of amusement in his eyes.
Igor began the process, carefully placing the glowing, chess-piece-shaped tomatoes into the transformation chambers. As the light show subsided, the remaining eleven tomatoes transformed into a new batch of Agents.
Each agent emerged as a male, just like the existing staff and soldiers, but they displayed a variety of characteristics and ethnicities. They quickly sorted themselves into two distinct groups based on their attire.
The first group, dress in crisp white suits with silver hair and black ties, identified themselves as:
Agent King White
Agent Queen White
Agent Bishop White
Agent Knight White
Agent Rook White
Agent Pawn White (who was already present)
The second group, dressed in sleek black suits with dark hair and white ties, introduced themselves as:
Agent King Black
Agent Queen Black
Agent Bishop Black
Agent Knight Black
Agent Rook Black
Agent Pawn Black
In total, there were now twelve new Agents standing in the lab, a highly specialized and visually striking force.
---
Two of the newly transformed agents took a step forward.
"I am Agent King White," stated the first, a distinguished mid-aged African man.
"And I am Agent King Black," introduced the second, a mid-aged Caucasian man.
They both spoke in unison, "We are the leaders of special operations."
King White continued, "As you've seen, Agent Pawn White has already demonstrated our abilities."
King Black added, "We are part of the security."
"If soldiers are your shield," King White declared, "we are your sword."
"Intelligence," King Black affirmed.
"Neutralization," King White added.
"Infiltration," King Black concluded.
"And more," they said in unison. "What are your orders?"
Igor, seizing the opportunity, "Maybe you guys can get those news reporters and the local government off our backs for a start."
"Order confirmed," they both stated with firm answer.
King White then requested, "May we have full access to the inventory?"
"And the security system, of course," King Black added.
"Access granted," Professor Gangreen replied, not hesitating.
"Perfect, thank you, Professor," King White acknowledged.
"We will bring results before lunch. May we be dismissed?" King Black inquired.
"Yes, you may go. I will see you at lunch," Gangreen approved.
"Wait, wait just a moment, please," Jason interrupted, still held securely in Unit 4's arms.
King Black, before departing, approached Jason, who was still safely cradled in Unit 4's protective embrace. King Black bowed respectfully to Jason. "Do you also wish to give an order, young lord?" he asked, acknowledging Jason's apparent status.
"No, um..." Jason stammered, then turned to Igor. "Igor, can you bring the little colorful tomatoes?"
"Oh, those are in the fridge," Igor recalled, heading to retrieve the glowing rainbow tomatoes. "Here you go, kid."
Jason, now holding the small, luminous fruits, showed them to King Black. "Do you know what these are for?" he asked.
"Yes, of course," King Black replied. "They are enhancements for the special soldiers."
"How exactly?" Jason inquired, fascinated.
"Oral intake, young lord," King Black explained.
"Thank you, Your Majesty," Jason said, noting the kings' fancy headband crowns and the queens' more elegant, flowy, hairpin-like crowns.
King Black bowed once more to Jason, then swiftly left the lab, joining the rest of the agents who had already departed.
---
"Wait," Igor said, his eyes widening as the realization surfaced on him. "Did he say these tomatoes are meant for the horny muscle guys?"
"I believe that's what he said," Jason replied, holding the container of glowing rainbow tomatoes.
Igor quickly counted them. "There are twelve here, one for each zodiac... and one exploded in the chamber." He looked pointedly at Unit 4.
Unit 4 grunted.
"Yeah," Igor continued, "I think that one was for you, big guy."
Unit 4 grunted again, a deeper, more displeased sound.
"It's not my fault!" Igor defended himself, throwing up his hands. "How would I know it would explode in the transformation chamber? I'll go ask Barry to put it into your lunch, okay?"
Igor then turned to Jason and Unit 4. "You guys go get these tomatoes to the soldiers. I'm going to go check on the special agents."
---
Unit 4 carried Jason in his arm, taking the elevator up to the manor. Their first stop was to distribute the remaining colorful rainbow tomatoes to the super soldiers currently on guard duty. As each soldier ate a glowing tomato, their erections slowly softened, indicating that they no longer felt the constant urge to release, much like Unit 4. impressively, this didn't diminish their invulnerability; it simply stabilized their physiological response. They continued on, distributing the rest of the tomatoes to the remaining super soldiers throughout the facility.
The Special Operations Room
At a room adjacent to the command center. "Whoa," Igor exclaimed, stepping inside. "I thought this was supposed to be a giant closet!"
This was the special operations room, now bustling with the newly introduced Agents. What Igor had presumed as a big, empty room was now transformed. All the hidden stations had opened, and multiple screens covered the walls, displaying an array of data, maps, and live feeds.
"Whoa, this is great!" Igor exclaimed, his eyes dashing across the high-tech displays.
Agent Knight Black, a handsome man with features matching of North American indigenous heritage, spoke calmly. "Please don't touch the panels, Sir Igor. The controls are sensitive."
"Okay, no touchy," Igor replied, pulling his hands back.
"Sir Igor," King White addressed him.
"Hey, my man," Igor responded, feeling confident. "I just dropped by to see how the operation is going."
"Yes, about that," King White affirmed. "The plan is ready. We just need permission to borrow two special soldiers and use one of the spaceships."
"Okay, I'll have to ask Professor Gangreen on that one," Igor said, already turning to head to the lab.
Before Igor could take another step, Agent Knight Black immediately linked up a comm to Gangreen's lab, and a holoprojection screen popped up, showing Professor Gangreen's face.
"What is it?" Gangreen's voice echoed.
"Hi, Professor," Igor said, "the agents are requesting permission to use one of the spaceships and two super soldiers."
"Granted," Gangreen replied instantly, and the communication cut off.
Igor turned back to the agents, a grin spreading across his face. "Look, you guys have a green light, good to go!"
"Thank you, Sir Igor," King White said respectfully. "Would you like to stay and watch the operation?"
"Really? I can stay?" Igor's eyes lit up.
"Of course," King White confirmed. "We have an observation area over here. Would you like tea?"
---
Agent King White guided Igor to a raised platform area. It was clearly designed for comfort and observation, furnished with soft sofas, inviting chairs, coffee tables, and cozy lamps. From this observation area, Igor could survey the entire operation room below, a hive of activity and glowing screens. Igor settled into a soft chair, immediately feeling more relaxed.
Then, Agent Rook Black, a handsome man with features as chiseled and beautiful as a Greek statue, approached with a tray. It held a delicate pot of tea, a teacup, milk, sugar, and an variety of small desserts. He poured Igor a cup of tea.
"Let me know if you need anything else, Sir Igor," Rook Black offered, gesturing to a discreet button. "There's a call button on the side of the chair."
After King White and Rook Black left him to resume their work, Igor's curiosity got the better of him. He decided to try out the call button. He pressed it, and an automated voice responded, "Who would you like to reach?"
"Um... oh, call Jason for me," Igor mumbled, a thought sparking in his mind.
Meanwhile, Unit 4 had Jason in his arms, both of them in the manor's kitchen, hunting for any leftover bacon. Suddenly, the soldier's wrist-watch began beeping. He raised his hand, and Igor's voice, slightly tinny, came through the device.
"Hey kid, you need to check this out! I'm in the special operation room, it's right next to the command center. It even has a VIP area, the sofa is so soft, you need to try this tea!"
---
After the communication ended, Jason sighed. "I don't think there's any leftover bacon here." He then looked up at Unit 4, his eyes brightening. "Let's go see the special operation room!"
Unit 4 responded with a kiss, then headed to the nearest elevator. They soon arrived at the bustling special operation room. Igor, spotting them immediately, waved excitedly. "Over here, kid!" he called out.
Unit 4 carried Jason to the observation area, gave him a kiss, and gently sat him down on a large, plush sofa. He then settled in right next to Jason, his arm reaching around the boy's back, letting him snuggle comfortably against his chest.
Agent Rook Black, quickly brought another tray filled with more tea, teacups, and a variety of delightful desserts. "For our young lord and his general," Rook Black announced smoothly, pouring them both a cup of tea. "I'll be down there if you need me."
"Thank you, Agent," Jason replied politely.
"You really need to try this tea, kid," Igor insisted, demonstrating. "Put milk in it first, like this. You probably want four sugars in yours."
---
The two requested super soldiers arrived at the special operation room, their powerful physiques immediately drawing attention. Agent King White approached them. "Thank you for coming," he stated. "This is Agent Pawn White. He will be in charge of the mission."
"Wait, what?" Igor interrupted, a look of doubt on his face. "You're sending a Pawn to deal with the local government? Isn't the pawn the most expendable piece on the chessboard?"
King White remained cool. "Sir Igor, do not worry. Please allow me to explain. While many of you see a Pawn as expendable, we see our Pawns as among our best agents. They may not look like much, but they're just as capable as our Queens. I assure you, Agent Pawn White will complete the mission and deliver you good results before lunch."
"Okay, man, I'm going to trust you on this one," Igor accepted, though a hint of skepticism lingered in his tone.
"Thank you for your understanding, Sir Igor," King White acknowledged. He then turned to Pawn White and the two super soldiers. "You may proceed with the mission. Dismissed." Agent Pawn White and the two super soldiers saluted crisply, and King White returned the salute before returning to his station.
Meanwhile, Jason was busy enjoying the colorful pastry and sipping his tea. Unit 4 discreetly waved to Rook Black, using military hand signals to request a beer. Rook Black responded with an "okay" gesture and went to get a big stein of beer for him.
---
Agent Pawn White led the two super soldiers to a new, discreet elevator located near the command center. This elevator descended directly to one of the vast underground silos housing a spaceship. A couple of staff members were already there, carefully double-checking the ship's systems and ensuring its tomato batteries were fully charged.
The sleek spaceship was parked horizontally, its boarding ramp already extended. The three of them saluted the busy staff before boarding. Inside, the super soldiers secured their pulse guns and strapped themselves into their seats. Agent Pawn White cautiously emptied his pockets, placing everything into a small compartment near his seat.
The boarding ramp retracted with a soft hiss, and the massive spaceship began to slowly flip into a vertical position within the silo. Pawn White then sent a confirmation to both the command center and the special operations room. "Agent Pawn White, we're ready."
In the special operations room, King White, overseeing the mission, gave his orders. "Jam every surveillance and radar system in a hundred-mile radius."
With a soft rumble, the silo door above them began to open, revealing the sky. The spaceship rose smoothly to ground level. "All clear," a voice confirmed over the comms. "Go for launch."
"Hang on, guys," Agent Pawn White announced, his voice calm. "We're launching." The engines ignited, and the spaceship began to lift off the ground silently, without a trace of smoke, ascending into the sky.
In the special operations room, Igor stared intently at the holoprojector, watching the launch, almost spilling his tea in his excitement. Jason, snuggled comfortably against Unit 4, rubbed the soldier's abs as he watched the launch on the holographic screen. Unit 4 took a big gulp of his beer, his gaze also fixed on the display.
"Cut jamming in ten seconds," King White instructed. A countdown timer appeared on the screen. As it hit zero, the jamming ceased.
"Good work, team," King White stated, satisfied. "They should think it was just a glitch in the system."
---
Igor, found a chess set tucked under one of the coffee tables in the observation area. He set up the game, then began the complicated task of teaching Jason how to play. "Uh, no," Igor corrected, his voice a little strained, "you can't move that piece like that. You can only move it this way."
Jason sighed, looking at the complex board. "Chess is too hard to learn," he complained.
Suddenly, an agent's voice cut through the comms: "Ten seconds for reentry. Three... two... one."
A moment later, a brilliant fireball streaked across the sky on the holographic screen, resembling a meteor. The spaceship did not slow down, maintaining its incredible speed until it reached its destination. Only then did it begin its rapid deceleration.
The ship landed with a soft thud, directly on the White House lawn. Immediately, White House security scrambled, their figures a blur of frantic activity. Agent Pawn White, however, seemed calm, patiently waiting until the news reporters arrived on the scene.
In the Special Operations Room, multiple live news feeds began to pop up across the holographic screens. Igor's jaw dropped, watching the spaceship sitting inappropriately on the White House lawn.
Then, on one of the live news channels, the spaceship's ramp slowly lowered. The two muscular super soldiers appeared first, both wearing their signature khaki briefs, proudly displaying their huge, sculpted muscles and extraordinary manly bulges. Each held a massive pulse gun, their intimidating form a harsh contrast to the manicured lawn.
Finally, Agent Pawn White calmly walked down the ramp, offering a confident wave to the stunned news crews.
"Igor, are you alright?" Jason asked, noticing his overwhelmed expression.
---
Igor finally snapped back to reality, his jaw still slack. "I said to take care of the news reporters and the local government," he stammered, gesturing wildly at the screens, "I didn't mean all this!"
King White remained perfectly calm. "Are you not satisfied with our results, Sir Igor?" he inquired, his voice even.
"Fine, fine, everything’s good" Igor gasped, trying to catch his breath. "I'm okay, just need to breathe."
Agent Rook Black, stepped forward. "Are you feeling okay, Sir Igor?" he asked with genuine concern.
Jason, sensing Igor's distress, spoke up. "Agent Rook, can you bring him a chocolate milkshake and some chocolate chip cookies? I think he's being hysterical." Agent Rook Black nodded. "Right away," he responded, disappearing to fulfill the request. Unit 4 leaned down and gave Jason a soft kiss, acknowledging his quick thinking.
Jason's gaze shifted to one of the monitors. "Well," he observed, pointing, "the news reporters at the outer gate are gone. And the news channels are all reporting about aliens landing at the White House."
Agent Rook Black returned swiftly with a tall chocolate milkshake and a plate piled high with chocolate chip cookies. "Thank you," Igor mumbled, taking a big sip of his milkshake, then stuffing his mouth with cookies.
On one of the holographic screens, the news showed the sleek spaceship taking off from the White House lawn.
"Look!" Jason exclaimed, pointing. "They're coming home!" Unit 4 gave him another affectionate kiss, a silent confirmation of the successful mission.
---
"Okay," Agent King White's voice was sharp, his eyes fixed on the holographic displays. "Let's get ready to guide them back in. Begin artificial solar flare simulation."
On the screens displaying local live news, randomized interference immediately began to ripple across the broadcasts, distorting the images and muffling the sound.
"Very good," King White commended. "Keep this up until our ship reaches home, then hit them with a big one. We only have a thirteen-second window to bring the ship home without being detected. Let's make it perfect, team."
Igor, focused in the event, watched the screens, stuffing his mouth with cookies and taking big sips of his chocolate milkshake.
Jason picked up a piece of the colorful dessert and held it out to Unit 4. "You want to try one?" The soldier opened his mouth, and the boy gently placed the treat inside. Unit 4 ate the dessert without expression.
"So, do you like it?" Jason asked, a hint of curiosity in his voice.
Unit 4 grunted.
"I guess not," Jason assumed with a small shrug. Unit 4 then leaned down and gave him a soft kiss.
"The ship's in position," King White announced. "Blackout in ten seconds. Three... two... one."
Immediately, the local news channels went completely blank, hit by heavy signal interference.
"Open the silo doors, raise the landing platform," King White commanded.
The ship raced into view, coming in so fast it sent multiple shockwaves booming through the air. It only began to decelerate when it reached the landing platform, settling smoothly into place.
"We have touchdown," King White confirmed. "Bring them in and secure the silo. Decrease the artificial solar flare. Continue the simulation for another ten minutes." He then nodded, a satisfied look on his face. "Good job, team."
---
Agent Queen White and Agent King Black approached the observation area. Queen White was a striking figure: a man with very pale skin, dark lipstick, and eyeshadow, dressed in a crisp white suit with a black tie and silver hair, just like the other White Agents. His crown was an elegant, flowy headband. King Black, a mid-aged Caucasian man with dark hair, wore a black suit with a white tie, his more masculine headband crown an obvious contrast to Queen White's.
"Sir Igor, Lord Jason, and General Four," Agent Queen White began, his voice smooth, "would you like to join us at the silo to congratulate Agent Pawn White for his successful mission?"
"Of course!" Igor exclaimed, his mouth full of cookies. "Come on, kid, let's go see some spaceships!"
Unit 4 gently picked Jason up. Jason, eager for another treat, reached for a piece of the colorful pastry. Unit 4, anticipating his wish, reached down, handed him a piece, and gave him a kiss.
The Agents then led them into the elevator, which descended directly to the silo where the spaceship was now slowly rotating from its vertical launch position to a horizontal landing orientation.
---
A couple of staff members were already standing by in the vast silo, ready to receive the returning ship. The two Agents, along with Igor, and Unit 4, who held Jason securely in his arm, approached the sleek vessel.
The ship's ramp slowly began to lower, extending like a metallic tongue. First, the two muscular super soldiers exited, their intimidating muscles a testament to their power. Then, Agent Pawn White confidently walk down the ramp. Once on the silo floor, all three stood in perfect formation, with Agent Pawn White positioned in the middle.
They snapped a crisp salute. Agent King Black, Queen White, and Unit 4 returned the salute.
"Excellent work, all of you," King Black stated, his voice resonating with approval.
---
"Congratulations, Agent Pawn!" Igor exclaimed, his voice filled with genuine admiration.
"Thank you, Sir Igor," Agent Pawn White replied, a subtle nod of acknowledgment. King Black and Pawn White then began to talk, going over the complex details of the mission.
Igor, noticing the time, saw there was still plenty of it until lunch. "Looks like there's still plenty of time until lunch," he said, turning to Jason. "Come on, kid, let's go inside the spaceship!" Igor quickly hopped into the ship, and Unit 4, carrying Jason, followed behind him. Queen White, accompanied them.
"No touching, right?" Igor asked, remembering the previous warning.
"It's okay, Sir Igor," Queen White assured him, a faint smile playing on his lips. "Most of the main systems are locked."
Igor, delighted, immediately sat in one of the pilot seats, pretending to be the captain. Unit 4 placed Jason in an adjacent seat and then settled into another one next to him. Igor then began to playfully mimic laser fire, "Fire photon torpedoes! Pew-pew! Pew-pew-pew!"
