HEY.

You might be wondering what happened to the poll this week, and why this isn't the audio you voted for two weeks ago (are you actually wondering or am I just neurotic and petulant? I am curious please tell me if you're actually wondering).

I had a bit of a scheduling mishap and so I needed to postpone that script (it's coming, don't worry!) In the meantime I was able to find another writer whose scripts I plan to use whenever these last-minute issues crop up. It's the summertime and I'm super busy with work and so unfortunately I can't plan around these things outside of just having a stockpile of audio to rely on just in case, but I can assure you that the scripts provided by this writer are of amazing quality.

I hope you are all doing well. I'm keeping my head down and trying my best to keep at it with a consistent schedule.

This audio was simultaneously really fun and really difficult to perform in terms of pacing because, if you're anything like me, I am awful when it comes to taking breathy pauses (the New Yorker in me just wanting things to be quick and efficient lmao). As this one's a little more cerebral, ideally I hope you're able to find a quiet moment with this audio and just relax after a long day -- that's my ideal scenario of you enjoying it.
