"Yes, I understand that. I hope to secure a better contract and reach greater heights in my career."
The agent sighed softly.
"I understand how you feel. You’re the team’s core player, the on-field leader, and a world-class talent. We should aim for a contract that reflects your true value."
Su Luo bit his lower lip lightly.
"But I can’t just think about personal gain. Dortmund is my home, and I care about the club’s future development."
After a brief silence, the agent said,
"I respect that. We can negotiate a fair and competitive contract — one that rewards you properly while ensuring the club retains enough financial resources to strengthen the squad."
A determined fire flashed in Su Luo’s eyes.
"Exactly. I want to move forward together with Dortmund, to chase an even more glorious future — one that belongs to all of us."
The agent nodded.
"Alright, I’ll do everything I can to secure the best deal for you. We’ll have detailed negotiations with the club’s board to make sure you get the treatment you deserve."
Su Luo nodded gratefully.
"Thank you. I trust you’ll get the best possible outcome."
The office fell silent once again. Su Luo could feel the weight of uncertainty hanging in the air.
He closed his eyes for a moment, remembering all the grueling hours he’d spent on the training ground.
No matter what the future held, he was determined to keep giving his best — for the team and for the fans.
The agent finally broke the silence.
"Don’t worry, Su Luo. I’m confident we can strike a deal that satisfies both you and the club — one that rewards your efforts and benefits the whole team."
Su Luo took a deep breath and stood up with a smile.
"Thank you for your support. I’ll keep pushing forward and live up to everyone’s expectations."
—
The tense atmosphere faded as Su Luo and Hagen stepped out of the office, instantly replaced by laughter and cheers echoing from the corridors.
In the visitors’ area of Golden Storm Stadium, the air was filled with the sound of celebration.
Hagen ran over, eyes shining with excitement, and threw his arms around Su Luo.
"Oh my God, Su Luo! You were incredible! You showed real leadership out there. I almost feel like bowing down to you!"
Su Luo chuckled.
"Thanks, Hagen. We all worked hard today — the teamwork was fantastic."
Hagen laughed, shaking his head.
"True, but there’s still a tiny thing… you could work on your penalty kicks a bit more," he said half-jokingly.
Su Luo smiled and patted his shoulder.
"Got it. I’ll spend a few extra hours tomorrow practicing penalties," he replied cheerfully.
Their teammates nearby burst into laughter and applause.
Su Luo felt a wave of satisfaction wash over him — being recognized and appreciated by his teammates was one of the best feelings in the world.
The atmosphere within the squad made him realize just how lucky he was.
Hagen gave him a big thumbs-up.
"Hey, I’ve got a suggestion — why not ask Karl Heinz for some advice? He’s a veteran and one of the best at taking penalties. I’m sure he’d be happy to help you out."
Su Luo nodded in agreement.
"That’s a great idea. Heinz really is one of the best. I’ll talk to him tomorrow," he said with a grateful smile.
Inside the Dortmund team, the mood was light and joyful — the players were united, supporting and pushing each other forward like true brothers-in-arms.
