Chapter 1,078 I Know You All Have Lofty Goals

The chairman smiled warmly. “I know all of you have lofty goals.”

Then his expression gradually turned serious. “And in order to achieve those goals, I think it’s time we had another talk.”

Su Luo, Robert, and Hagen immediately sensed the hidden meaning behind the chairman’s words and waited expectantly to hear what he would say next.

“Recently, several clubs have been inquiring about Su Luo’s situation,” the chairman continued after a brief pause. “Although we have no intention of letting you go, I think we should consider increasing the release clause in your contract.”

Su Luo was taken aback, visibly surprised.

He had been ready to give his all for Dortmund’s future, but he didn’t expect the chairman to bring up such an issue.

“The increase in the release clause is meant to protect the club’s interests,” the chairman explained. “We’re aware that you might attract more attention from other clubs in the near future, but we also have to think about how the team will rebuild if you ever leave.”

Hearing this, both Robert and Hagen fell silent, exchanging a meaningful look.

On the sunlit Dortmund training ground, Su Luo wore light training gear as he worked up a sweat during an intense solo session.

He poured his full effort into every drill, striving for perfection in every movement.

From the sidelines, the coach watched closely, clearly satisfied with what he saw.

He walked over to Su Luo and said with an encouraging smile, “Su Luo, your hard work and passion for football really make me proud.”

Su Luo smiled modestly. “Thank you, coach. I just want to give my best every day.”

The coach nodded. “You’re already an exceptional player, but we can still push your technical level even higher.”

Hearing this, Su Luo’s eyes lit up with anticipation. He knew he still had plenty of room to grow.

“Coach, please tell me what I need to do,” he said eagerly.

The coach smiled and gestured toward the field. “First, we’ll focus on improving your dribbling and passing. You need to adjust the power and precision of your touches to make your passes more threatening.”

Su Luo nodded and began to imitate the coach’s demonstration.
“Okay, I’ll try to do it.”

They soon started a series of drills focusing on dribbling and passing.

Under the coach’s guidance, Su Luo constantly refined his movements and experimented with new techniques.

Sunlight poured over the green pitch, and in that calm and focused atmosphere, Su Luo concentrated on every single action.

After a while, the coach gave an approving nod.
“You’ve improved a lot,” he said encouragingly.

Su Luo smiled, wiping the sweat from his forehead. “Thank you, coach. I’ll keep working hard.”

They sat together on the sidelines for a short break.

Su Luo was breathing heavily, but his eyes burned with determination.
“I want to be the best player in the world,” he declared.

The coach smiled and patted his head. “I believe you can achieve that. As long as you stay focused and keep working hard, you’ll become the best version of yourself.”

Su Luo clenched his fists. “I won’t let you down, coach.”

They resumed training again. Under the blazing sun, Su Luo pushed himself to the limit, his sweat and effort blending into a picture of relentless determination.

He knew that only through constant training and perseverance could he stand at the very top of the football world.

Later, in the Dortmund club office, Su Luo sat on a large leather chair, holding a contract in his hand.

A heavy atmosphere filled the room, as if hinting that the upcoming conversation would not be an easy one.

Across from him, his agent sat with a frown. “Su Luo, you know your contract will expire at the end of next season.”
