Chapter 1028: Interview With "World Football"

"I'm going home to rest. We still have important training and matches to prepare for tomorrow, so we can’t relax at all," Su Luo said as he turned and walked toward the door.

The two watched Su Luo leave, filled with admiration and respect for their young teammate. Su Luo returned to his luxurious villa on the outskirts of Dortmund — a home he bought after becoming a first-team player at the club.

He walked through the spacious, brightly lit living room and sat down on the sofa, staring quietly into the distance.

His hair was slightly messy, and faint wrinkles creased his forehead as Su Luo fell into deep thought.

The sound of the wind outside the window and the faint chirping of birds drifted into the peaceful living room.

Emily came over and gently sat next to Su Luo, silently keeping him company.

Although they didn’t exchange words, she knew that what Su Luo needed right now wasn’t comfort or advice — but a calm environment and quiet support.

Su Luo began replaying the recently finished match in his mind, analyzing every offensive and defensive transition, every pass, and every shot in detail.

On the contrary, he felt more alert and tense.

The looming away game against Arsenal worried him.

Emily, sitting beside him, sensed his unease and anxiety. She leaned closer, quietly offering warmth and comfort through her presence.

Emily knew there wasn’t much she could do to help Su Luo directly, but she was willing to be by his side.

Time passed quietly, and in that peaceful moment, Su Luo began to find clarity — some strategies and ideas started taking shape in his mind.

Although the path to victory wasn’t fully determined, at least he had a preliminary plan.

This eased his mind, and the tension in his face slowly softened.

At that moment, Su Luo felt Emily’s care and company. He turned his head and looked at her.

Their eyes met — filled with deep understanding and silent encouragement.

No words were needed. In each other’s presence, they both felt strength and support for the road ahead.

Su Luo smiled faintly and gently brushed a strand of hair from Emily’s forehead before standing up.

He knew it was time to focus and plan for the match.

For such a young and talented player, football wasn’t just a sport — it was both a responsibility and a mission.

A few days later, Su Luo walked out of the driving school with a smile on his face and a freshly issued driver’s license in his hand.

On a sunny afternoon, he went to a café near a green field to give an exclusive interview to a reporter from World Football magazine.

After setting up the recorder and camera, the reporter asked directly, “Mr. Su Luo, now that you’ve become a top star and fame and wealth are pouring into your life, can you still maintain your pure passion for football?”

Hearing the question, Su Luo smiled, leaning slightly back in his chair. “Yes. I know that sometimes fame and fortune can distract me from what matters most — football. But I believe that as long as I hold onto my original love for this sport, no amount of profit will ever pull me away from the game I’ve cherished for so many years.”
