One of them added, “We should consider imposing disciplinary action on the opposing team as a warning.”

Another official followed, “We also need to make sure Su Luo receives proper protection, and we should handle this incident as quickly as possible.”

The conference room was filled with an atmosphere of tension and contemplation.

The officials’ expressions were a mix of concern and resolve as they faced this crucial decision.

After reviewing the evidence and match footage, the chairman finally spoke again in a deep voice:

“Based on the current evidence and the video from last week’s match, we strongly condemn the player’s actions. His behavior completely violated the principles of fair play and posed serious risks to both his opponents and the referees.”

All the officials nodded in agreement.

The chairman continued, “We will issue an official warning and impose a fine. The opposing team will be fined, and their head coach will be suspended for three matches.”

Su Luo returned to his villa later that evening, both physically and mentally exhausted. A wave of sadness and frustration washed over him.

When he walked into the living room, he found Emily sitting on the sofa, waiting for him.

There was a trace of worry in her eyes. She immediately stood up as soon as she saw him.

“Su Luo, you’re back,” Emily said gently, her voice full of concern. “Are you alright?”

Su Luo gave a faint smile and nodded. “I’m fine… just a little sore.”

Emily carefully tended to the bruise on his arm, gently dabbing it with a warm cloth.

Then she lightly patted his shoulder and said softly, “Don’t worry. You’ve already done a great job.”

Su Luo looked deeply into Emily’s eyes, feeling the warmth of her encouragement and unwavering support.

“Thank you, Emily,” he said quietly. “I know this incident was a big blow, but I believe that justice will be served.”
