Robert and Hagen stopped the timers in their hands and nodded with satisfaction.

They could tell that Su Luo was making real progress.

“Very good, Su Luo!”

Hagen walked over and patted him on the shoulder. “You’ve improved even more than last time.”

Su Luo was breathing heavily but smiled in response. “Thank you for always supporting me.”

At that moment, Emily approached and handed Su Luo a refreshing drink. “Here, this is for you.”

“Thanks.”

Su Luo took the drink and looked at Emily with determination in his eyes. “I won’t let you down.”

After training, Su Luo walked toward the sidelines, his sweat-soaked shirt clinging to his back. As he approached Emily, his smile conveyed both joy and satisfaction from the hard work he had put in.

Emily watched him with pride and affection in her eyes.

She knew just how much effort and persistence Su Luo had poured into his recovery during this period.

“I can see how hard you’ve been working in training. You’re really amazing,” Emily said encouragingly.

Su Luo gently placed his hand on Emily’s shoulder. “Thank you for always being there for me,” he said sincerely. “Without your support, I might not have come this far.”

Emily felt deeply moved by his words.

“This is all thanks to your own hard work,” she replied softly. “I just gave you a little encouragement.”

“How’s the recovery going?” she asked. “Do you still feel any pain?”

Su Luo shook his head. “No, I feel great now. My body’s recovering well, and my stamina is getting stronger every day.”

Emily smiled with relief. “That’s wonderful! You’ll definitely be back on the pitch soon.”

Su Luo nodded confidently. “Yes, I’m sure of it. I still remember the promise I made—to return to the field and win for the team once I recover.”

Emily gazed into Su Luo’s eyes, which were filled with unwavering determination and courage.

“You’ve always been so strong and brave,” she said softly. “No matter what challenges or difficulties you face, I believe you’ll overcome them.”

Su Luo took her hand gently. “Thank you for always staying by my side. Because of you, I have the strength to push past my limits.”

They stood quietly by the edge of the training ground, the cool breeze brushing past them, as if nature itself was witnessing the silent bond of trust and understanding between them.

“We still have a long road ahead,” Su Luo said calmly. “But no matter what happens, I’ll keep going. My goal is to become the best version of myself and bring more glory to the team.”

Emily held his hand tightly, her voice firm and full of faith. “I believe in you, and I’ll always be by your side. No matter what comes our way, we’ll face it together.”

Later that day, Su Luo walked into a high-end sports equipment store in downtown Dortmund. Rows of new gear lined the shelves, gleaming under the lights.

As he entered the football section, his attention was immediately drawn to a pair of brand-new boots displayed on a stand.

They were called “Shadow Speedster”—a sleek, lightweight design known for enhancing a player’s speed and agility.

Su Luo stepped closer and examined them carefully. He ran his fingers across the smooth uppers, feeling the fine texture and lightness.

He had seen other top players wearing similar boots on TV—darting across the pitch with incredible pace and precision. It was a sight that made him both envious and inspired.

And now, as he looked at those boots, Su Luo felt the familiar fire of ambition burning once again within him.
