“I believe that if we can stay united, we can influence the entire football world. It won’t be easy, but as long as we work hard, I believe we can succeed.”
The three of them exchanged a knowing glance before continuing their training.
Each of them carried in their hearts a shared dream — to fight for the future of football.
Later that evening, Su Luo sat alone in the corner of a quiet café, staring blankly at an empty coffee cup.
Tears still glistened on his cheeks, revealing the sadness and pain buried deep inside.
Just then, the café door opened softly.
Emily walked in and immediately noticed Su Luo sitting alone. Her expression shifted to one of concern and sympathy.
“Su Luo…” she called softly as she walked over and sat across from him. “What’s wrong? You look upset.”
Su Luo lifted his head and forced a small smile. “It’s nothing,” he said quietly. “Maybe I’m just not in a good mood today.”
Emily didn’t believe him.
“Su Luo,” she said gently, “you know yourself better than anyone else. You’re smart and thoughtful — please, tell me what’s really bothering you.”
The young football genius, burdened by immense pressure, struggled to find his balance in the harsh realities of professional sport.
Su Luo found it increasingly difficult to bear the weight on his shoulders.
He was only twenty years old, yet he carried the hopes and expectations of an entire team. The responsibility was far heavier than he had imagined.
“Pressure, Emily,” Su Luo whispered. “I feel so much pressure… sometimes I don’t even know how to handle it.”
Emily nodded, her eyes filled with understanding.
“You’ve sacrificed so much for the team,” she said softly. “That kind of burden can be overwhelming.”
Su Luo sighed deeply. “Yes… I once thought that becoming the team’s core player and leader would make me stronger. But the truth is, I just feel lonelier and more helpless.”
Emily gently held his hand. “Su Luo, you’re not alone in this fight. You have Robert, Hagen, and all your teammates standing by you. And don’t forget…” she added with a tender smile, “you also have me.”
Her gentle care warmed Su Luo’s heart. Yet, deep within, a storm of doubt still lingered.
“But… what if we fail?” he murmured. “What if we can’t change anything?”
Emily squeezed his hand tightly, her eyes burning with determination.
“Su Luo, even if we fail, we’ll keep fighting. What matters isn’t the result — it’s that we gave our all for what we believe in.”
Su Luo looked at her, feeling her strength and courage seep into him. The heavy pressure in his chest began to ease, replaced by a quiet but powerful resolve.
The next day, Su Luo stood once again on the training pitch at Dortmund’s training base. Sweat dripped from his forehead as he threw himself into the session with full concentration.
Every dribble, every sprint, every pass — it all reflected his relentless pursuit of perfection.
Robert and Hagen were there too, working in perfect sync with him.
They didn’t need words. Their understanding of each other was enough to create seamless cooperation on the field.
Together, they tore through the opposition like an unstoppable force.
Whenever Su Luo broke through with the ball, Robert and Hagen would immediately coordinate a series of precise plays to support him — allowing Su Luo to unleash his full potential as Dortmund’s brightest star.
