Chapter 984: Not Swayed By The Opponent’S Provocation

The club president gave a brief but powerful speech:

"We regret Su Luo’s mistakes, but we believe that everyone makes them.

Su Luo has realized his errors and has promised to correct them in the future.

As a club, we must be forgiving, supportive, and help our players grow from their mistakes."

The senior management stood firmly behind Su Luo, choosing to protect and support him despite the potential impact such a sensitive issue could have on the club’s image.

They strongly believed that with the right guidance, Su Luo could learn from this experience and continue to demonstrate great leadership.

As the press conference went on, reporters gradually began to show more understanding and tolerance toward Su Luo.

They asked a series of questions—questions designed not to attack, but to give him a path back on track.

"Mr. Su Luo, why do you think you made this mistake?"

"How do you plan to correct it and rebuild your image?"

Su Luo responded in a calm and steady tone:

"I know my position and responsibilities. I must regain the public’s trust and the support of the fans. I will train harder, play harder, and respond through actions that live up to everyone’s expectations."

Standing behind him were his teammates Robert and Hagen, silently showing their support.

They knew Su Luo had faced enormous pressure and challenges, but they also believed he would rise again.

The collapse and rebuilding of a hero began with this conference.

After answering the final questions, Su Luo faced the cameras with a smile and stepped down from the podium, leaving behind the hopes and expectations of countless fans.

For supporters who were watching live or on television, the scene was uplifting.

They saw a young player bravely face his mistakes and show his determination to change and grow.

Fans began to re-examine Su Luo, once again identifying with him and looking forward to seeing him shine brighter on the pitch.

After the press conference, Su Luo returned to the training ground with firm steps.

He knew this was the moment he had to prove himself—not just to the fans, but also to his teammates.

The very next day, Borussia Dortmund were set to face VfB Stuttgart at the Mercedes-Benz Arena.

It was a crucial match, and the rivalry between the two clubs had always been fierce.

Outside the stadium, a sea of passionate fans had gathered.

In the stands, Dortmund and Stuttgart supporters clashed, waving flags and chanting loudly to show their unwavering loyalty.

As the match began, the tension on the pitch quickly escalated.

Players from both sides engaged in frequent physical challenges and heated exchanges.

Each collision fueled anger and dissatisfaction, spreading through the stadium like fire.

Su Luo stood on the field, feeling the heavy, hostile atmosphere.

He was long accustomed to pressure, but now more than ever, he needed to stay calm—unmoved by distractions—and focus on the game.

Still, the attitude of the opposition players and some of the referee’s decisions only made the situation worse.

Verbal conflicts between the two sides intensified, with insults and provocations flying back and forth.

One Stuttgart player even hurled a personal insult at Su Luo.

He clenched his fists but suppressed his anger, refusing to be dragged down by provocation.

He knew that in moments like this, keeping calm was the most important thing.

The referee, seeing the match slipping out of control, tried to restore order with yellow cards and stern warnings.
