Added 2025-09-22 09:47:30 +0000 UTCSu Luo opened the locker room door and was immediately surrounded by his teammates.
They looked at him with passion, showing their support and encouragement.
"Su Luo, don’t worry, we believe you can handle this problem," Robert said firmly.
"Yes, you’re our core player. We need your leadership and fighting spirit," Hagen added.
Feeling the warmth and encouragement from his teammates, Su Luo smiled. "Thank you. I’ll solve this problem as soon as possible."
At 16:00, head coach Jürgen Klopp walked into the locker room.
He looked at Su Luo with a frown. "Su Luo, we need to face this problem seriously. Your behavior has caused a lot of trouble for the team."
Su Luo lowered his head. "I’m sorry, coach."
Klopp’s tone was stern. "As a leader and core player, you must be mindful of your words and actions in public. This incident has left me very disappointed."
"Coach, I understand I made a mistake," Su Luo admitted.
He then suggested, "I can take the initiative to apologize to the media and promise to be more careful in the future."
Klopp nodded. "That’s a good idea. But we still need to do more to repair the team’s image. I suggest that the whole squad participate in charity activities to show the fans we’ve learned from this."
A flash of determination appeared in Su Luo’s eyes. "Coach, I agree with your proposal. That way, we can spread positive energy and rebuild the team’s reputation."
Klopp smiled. "Very good, Su Luo. I believe you can lead the team out of this situation. Don’t make the same mistake again. You have the ability to become a great leader."
Although Su Luo felt some guilt and self-blame, he was also encouraged by the support of his teammates and coach.
He knew he couldn’t let their trust go to waste.
Later, Su Luo stood on the podium, steadying his nerves as he prepared to answer reporters’ questions.
This was his first public apology at a press conference, and he hoped to regain the fans’ trust.
The reporters stared at him intently, waiting for his response. A heavy atmosphere filled the room, as if time had frozen.
The first reporter asked seriously, "Mr. Su Luo, what do you think of the incident? What impact do you believe it has had on you and the team’s image?"
Su Luo took a deep breath and replied calmly. "First of all, I want to apologize to the fans for my behavior. As a team leader and core player, I failed to show responsibility. My actions caused trouble for the team and left a negative impact. That was my mistake."
Another reporter quickly followed up. "Mr. Su Luo, will this incident change the way you approach things?"
Su Luo nodded firmly. "Yes. After this experience, I’ve thought deeply. As both a leader and a public figure, I must pay more attention to my words and actions. I feel deep regret and self-blame, and I promise to be more cautious in the future."
Su Luo’s firm attitude surprised the media. They hadn’t expected such maturity from the young player.
At the press conference, Dortmund’s senior executives also attended.
They stood behind Su Luo, symbolizing their support and protection for him.
They understood the pressure and criticism he was facing and wanted to help him rebuild a positive image.
