Chapter 980: A Challenging Look

He was full of confidence and determination. Su Luo believed that as long as the whole team worked together and took action, victory would belong to them.

Leaving the hotel, he walked into Stuttgart’s central square.

The air was alive with football fever as crowds gathered to build excitement for the upcoming game.

Su Luo was drawn to the energy of the fans. He saw people cheering, laughing, and playing around.

Some waved flags with his name and the team logo, others shouted his name, while many held up their phones to capture the rare moment.

“Su Luo! Su Luo!” the chants grew louder and louder.

As soon as they saw him approaching, the fans gathered closer, forming a small circle around him.

Su Luo smiled warmly, shaking hands and greeting everyone.

He could feel the sincerity and purity in their support.

For a young player, to shoulder such expectations was not only a responsibility but also an immense honor.

“Mr. Su Luo, please sign this!” a little boy called out, stretching out an album with Su Luo’s picture on the cover.

Su Luo gently took the album. Soon, more fans began making the same request.

He signed his name on notebooks, shirts, and photos, taking time to pose for pictures with them as well.

In their excitement, the fans even set up a makeshift autograph booth so more people could come closer and interact with him.

“Su Luo, we are proud of you!” one supporter shouted.

Others quickly echoed the sentiment.

Those simple, heartfelt words deeply touched Su Luo.

He understood that this match was not only for the club—it was also for these loyal fans.

“Thank you! Your support is my greatest motivation to keep moving forward,” Su Luo replied with a smile.

Fans lined up to express their admiration.

“You’re our best player!”
“We hope you keep showing your top form in the match!”
“We believe you’ll help the team win!”

Hearing these voices, Su Luo felt a surge of pride welling inside him.

He knew he could not let down the faith and expectations of these supporters.

In that moment of passion and unity, he drew strength from their encouragement.

Just then, while Su Luo was still at the autograph booth, a brush of contact from the sidelines caused him to bump into Shinji Okazaki.

Su Luo frowned slightly, immediately sensing provocation.

He dusted himself off and met Okazaki’s eyes with a sharp, challenging stare.

Several Stuttgart players noticed the tension and quickly gathered around.

They pointed fingers at Su Luo, clearly unhappy with his reaction.

“Who do you think you are? Why did you attack my teammate?” Okazaki demanded.

Su Luo chuckled and stepped closer.

“I didn’t attack you. I only responded.”

One of Stuttgart’s more aggressive players shoved forward, his face twisted with anger.

“You star players always think you can do whatever you want!”

“Don’t get me wrong,” Su Luo replied coolly. “We’re just keeping things competitive.”

He still wore a smile, but his eyes were cold and razor sharp.

The scene quickly descended into chaos. Angry boos erupted from the nearby crowd, and security staff rushed over to separate the players.
