Chapter 942 Always Missing The Best Time And Opportunity

Su Luo stared at Robert, silently praying in his heart that the ball would reach his feet.

He could feel Robert’s trust and expectation, as well as the tense, breathless anticipation of the crowd.

Suddenly, a streak of light cut across the sky like a shooting star in the night.

Under pressure, Robert held firm and delivered a perfectly placed pass straight to Su Luo’s position.

Su Luo lifted his eyes, tracking the ball as it dropped closer and closer. With flawless control, he caught the pinpoint long pass on his left foot.

Then, without hesitation, he launched a stunning strike.

In that instant, time seemed to stop.

The entire stadium held its breath, for everyone knew what was coming—this was Su Luo’s signature move.

He swung with full force, unleashing his final blow under the dazzling afterglow of the sun.

The ball soared across the penalty area, tracing a beautiful arc through the air.

For a moment, the opposing goalkeeper froze in disbelief. Then, scrambling in panic, he leapt desperately to block it.

But it was too late.

The ball streaked past him like a meteor, unstoppable, slamming into the net.

The Golden Arena exploded in thunderous cheers.

Fans leapt to their feet, jumping and shouting, their passion for football erupting like wildfire.

Su Luo’s face lit up with a smile. He raised a hand and gave Robert a big thumbs-up.

This perfect moment of teamwork filled him with renewed confidence—in himself and in the strength of his team.

The spectators were left in awe. They stood and applauded, their faces glowing with joy.

In the stands, Emily’s eyes sparkled with pride and delight.

She cherished Su Luo’s determination and talent, and she admired him deeply.

She believed that a player as exceptional as Su Luo would never betray the trust placed in him.

Yet, even as the joy lingered, Su Luo felt a sudden tightness in his chest. His breathing quickened.

That breathtaking strike had taken more out of him than he expected.

Not long ago, he had been the king of the pitch. No matter how closely he was marked, he always found a way to triumph with his vision and unique skills.

But now… things were different.

The opposition sensed his fatigue. They began pressing harder, closing in, changing tactics, and targeting him relentlessly.

Every time Su Luo sought space, he was quickly trapped.
Every time he looked for an opening, it vanished before he could act.

He began to miss chances—opportunities that once came so naturally.

The crowd started to notice something was wrong. A ripple of unease spread across the stands.

This wasn’t the dazzling Su Luo they knew. Instead, he seemed heavy, clumsy—his sharpness fading away.

Still, despite their doubts, the fans did not abandon him.

They clapped louder, cheered harder, and chanted his name.

“Su Luo! Su Luo! Su Luo!”

Amid the thousands of voices, one thing was clear: their trust in him had not wavered.

Emily’s gaze never left him. She could feel his inner struggle, his confusion.

But she also knew the game wasn’t over—not yet.

Though he seemed broken for the moment, she believed in him. She believed that once the clouds lifted, Su Luo would rise again, shining even brighter.

On the pitch, Su Luo lifted his head, weary but unbowed.

He glanced at his teammates, then at the roaring crowd.

He could see the doubt in his teammates’ eyes, the uncertainty. But he could also feel their faith—they had not given up on him.

And that alone was enough to push him forward.

In the stands, Emily clenched her hands tightly, her eyes brimming with expectation and unwavering trust.
