“Great! You’re our core player and leader. We need you to guide the team,” Hågen said encouragingly.

While they were talking, a group of men in suits suddenly entered the training ground.

Representatives from several major European clubs had arrived. Word had spread quickly that Su Luo had extended his contract with Dortmund, and now they were all eager to show their interest.

“Mr. Su Luo, we greatly admire your talent and potential. Our club is willing to provide you with even better terms and development opportunities. Please consider joining us.”

The representatives rushed forward, each presenting their tempting offers.

Su Luo’s heart pounded. He had never expected so many top clubs to pursue him all at once. Though he already wore Dortmund’s colors, the possibility of advancing his career elsewhere stirred both excitement and nerves deep inside him.

Taking a steady breath, he faced the crowd calmly.
“Thank you all for your kind attention and generous invitations. But I have made my decision—I will be staying in Dortmund.”

Later, in the Dortmund club office, the atmosphere was heavy.

Su Luo sat quietly at the table, staring down at his renewal contract.

Senior club executives stood nearby, hoping to secure his commitment once more.

“Su Luo, you are the core and the future star of this team,” said Hans, the club’s CEO, his tone sincere.
“We value you deeply, and we hope you will stay with Dortmund—become the very symbol of our team.”

Su Luo remained silent, worry clouding his face.

He knew he held a unique place in Dortmund. But at the same time, he couldn’t suppress his curiosity about the possibilities waiting at the wealthiest European clubs. Unknown challenges tempted him, even as he feared missing the chance to reshape his career.

Across the table sat his agent, Mendel, calmly sorting through documents.

Mendel had always been Su Luo’s most loyal supporter—part advisor, part brother, and always a sincere friend.

Sensing his client’s hesitation, Mendel lifted his head and addressed the executives with a measured smile.

“I understand your desire to keep Su Luo here. He truly does love this club. But at the same time, it’s only natural for a young player to want broader development. We must consider every option carefully.”

A flicker of reluctance crossed Hans’s face. He could see Su Luo’s hesitation clearly.

“Su Luo, please think about this carefully,” Hans said gently.
“No matter what decision you make, you will always have our respect and support.”

At that moment, a phone rang on the table.

Mendel answered, listened briefly, then nodded toward Su Luo before turning back to the executives with a polite smile.

“Before we begin discussions with other clubs, perhaps we should first talk about optimizing the contract terms and development opportunities here in Dortmund.”

The board members exchanged glances. They understood now that neither Su Luo nor his agent was ready to back down. If they let him go, Dortmund would lose not only a rising star, but the heart of their future.

Jurgen, the club’s general manager, finally spoke up.
“We can adjust the salary package—and more importantly, give you greater decision-making power within the squad, along with guaranteed participation in key matches.”
