I think you forget the greater matter at hand, magic is killing not just this world, but all worlds. Instead of Tyron dying, I see him ending magic in the world and moving on to the source.

2026-02-27 08:31:44 +0000 UTCYou know, im not sure if this id the way the novel is heading, but i would be ok if the ending was tyron dying after killing the gods, and merigold putting the pieces of a world back together

2026-02-26 22:16:01 +0000 UTCGood, this needed to happen otherwise Tyron would have steamrolled over the Empire. Especially now, his strength is growing exponentially, even if they get their sh*t together, if they dally too long he would still bulldoze over them. Still, I hope he takes over the Western Province fully before the Empire comes in force.

2026-02-26 09:45:08 +0000 UTCI think Georg (or something) did have the opportunity to make infectious zombies, but refused the option.

2026-02-26 08:28:01 +0000 UTCI'm waiting for her to somehow learn that he can permanently close the rifts, and that the gods are purposely destroying the world.

2026-02-26 05:56:29 +0000 UTCI’m curious to see how Merigold’s story will end. She is the second most powerful character of the entire empire. And by far the most active. Whilst she’s a believer and is awed by the grandeur of the gods and the powers of their servants, she is not blind to the nobles pride and ego. She will be a fierce opponent for Tyron but at the same time will she stay that way? As she gains levels, as she gains more insights on the empire and just how corrupt it is. Will she begin to try to save the people more than the empire itself? I’m excited! If she achieves platinum (on accident otherwise there be so much brainwashing) and figured out the truth I wonder how she would react

2026-02-26 05:15:06 +0000 UTCProbably, but challenger or master is the goal and he has to go a lot of matches in LoL if he wants to get there.

2026-02-26 04:10:32 +0000 UTCgreat. Given that she's earned her success by being actually intelligent, and not a brainwashed zealot with the brain of a walnut, she is almost certainly going to be able to see the holes in the empire's story with her new access. She already knows the empire is hiding something big from her, since tyron offered to kill her by telling her something that would force HER OWN BODYGUARD to kill her

2026-02-26 03:59:07 +0000 UTCI would be surprised if that Noble gets to live after this. To call the person the Emperor himself had appointed to the highest position in the court incompetent and a traitor is to do so to the Emperor himself.

2026-02-26 03:49:57 +0000 UTCI think that Tyron will need to advance beyond Platinum rank for the next stage of the war. Is Diamond the next rank?

2026-02-26 02:50:47 +0000 UTCWhat I REAALLY can’t wait for is the court session where it’s all crumbling down. There’s a lot of empty seats at court…. Just nobles screaming at each other freaking out before the emperor restores order. Ooof.

2026-02-26 02:39:58 +0000 UTCWas the student that ran away the zombie one? I was hoping to see contagious zombie plagues at some point. Imagine Tyron just releasing thirty infectious zombies into dozens of cities. Just to do it. Every citizen going to school, working or learning their trade is feeding the empire. Any reduction is a win and Tyron should look into low effort mass casualty events like sickness and zombies. The nobles will struggle a lot more without the majority of their citizens. It’s a system built on exploiting anyone that’s not a noble. Take away that class and it’s just… nobles in empty cities. I felt bad even writing that lol.

2026-02-26 02:28:09 +0000 UTCI really really want the emperor to specifically acknowledge the threat of Tyron to the court. They are very “the grievance of a single mage” “bah, how petty” I would love to see the nobles during the “oh shit” moment when Tyron’s undead plagues start springing up in all four continents at once. I’m pretty sure the court STILL isn’t taking Tyron seriously so buried in their own BS.
