Isla Paraíso

When Sonia and Sondra decided to celebrate their upcoming birthday with a trip to somewhere secluded and romantic, they had no idea that their new friends from grad school were already a step ahead of them.

Gabriela, Galena and Gisela met Sonia and Sondra one day in a study group during midterm exams in college. Ever since that day, their friendship has quickly grown deeper, and nowadays the five of them love to hang out and have fun together whenever they get the chance. Their shared bond as twins and triplets is the root of their friendship, but it has already grown well beyond that in the short time they've known each other.

Gabriela - or Gabi, for short - is the eldest of the triplets. Their family has owned a small, idyllic island in the Caribbean Sea for many generations, and it's a treasure that they cherish deeply, making visits to it as often as possible. When Sonia mentioned one day to Gabi that she and Sondra were looking forward to getting away for their birthday, Gabi immediately knew what she, Galena and Gisela were going to do to help their friends celebrate. She also knew that Sonia had just earned her pilot's license at the top of her class, so she and her sisters even chartered a plane for the weekend, as well.

The five of them all finally arrive at Isla Paraíso late in the night by boat, exhausted from their journey and ready for sleep. The next morning, the rising sun wakens all of them except Galena, the middle sister, who loves to sleep in. Sonia, Sondra, Gabi and Gisela are ready for some adventure however, so the four of them decide to take a morning plane ride to welcome the sunrise, while Galena happily dozes away until their return.

Isla Paraíso - Part One will pick up with Galena meeting Sonia, Sondra, Gabi and Gisela on the pier after landing. I aim to complete it by this Sunday, with fingers crossed that the renders stay fast. This scene is starting to feel like it could be a big one, and I'm doing the storyboard on the fly, so to speak... let's see where the adventure takes us!
