*EARLY* (FULL/UNCUT) Shameless 5x04 REACTION - "A Night to Remem-Wait, What?"

So many things!!!! So I'm gonna knock out some quick thoughts and then toss in a personal anecdote for shits and giggles. 1. Ian and Mickey...yes Ian is beginning to show signs of Hypomania...fast talking, hyper fixation, overthinking, irrational thoughts...but you gotta remember there was just a major stress trigger in his mind...they are now raising a baby together as a family of 4...and Mickey’s main income was the rub and tug which was shut down and Svet doesn't get paid until she delivers the baby as the seragate so in his mind this way of making money just fell into his lap...so he is all in cause he wants to support his family. (Which yes makes it much sadder) Mickey is watching and realizing...oh shit...idk what to do. Also, years later Noel Fisher brought up the dildo scene about how Cam actually threw that thing in his face and how hard it hit him and you can actually see if you watch it he breaks character just before it cuts away and I laugh everytime! 2. You nailed it...Lip is in Miami with Amanda...and yea the 180 the dad does is a little weird but I kinda get it cause he goes from thinking...this kid is a street rat to oh shit this kid is actually smart and I clearly misjudged him...and I love that the show actually showed that dynamic and the adult in Lip's life actually kinda owning that. 3. Debbie...your thing in the beginning...I'm so glad you said that!!! We are legit here watching you and supporting you BECAUSE WE WANNA SEE YOUR OPINIONS!!!! Anyone who trys to tell you to conform to their opinions has no business here...and I will gladly get a second subscription to Patreon to fill their absence! And I just love you trying to figure out Debbie I truly do...cause she absolutely has one of the strangest archs! 4. Carl my boy is going down the path of Carl lmao...it is a trip and a half so strap in! 5. This is definitely one of my fav Frank episodes cause of the layout and I truly love it. 6. Kev and V...yeah...it is so hard to see them like this cause you know they are like the only real loving relationship the Gallagher kids have ever really seen...so to see it breaking is hard. (FYI they do only have 2 kids...V's mom kept the boy and is raising him as her own) Ok and finally...7. Fiona and Gus...now I fully agree with everything you said about it being way too fast to make a choice like getting married...its certafiably insane to do that... However, personal anecdote time lmao... At 22 years old, I had just gotten out of a brutal 4 year relationship...(like 3 days earlier I'd fully moved out) and I was at the bar I was working at at the time and saw a regular I'd become friends with over the years...and well...one thing lead to another and yeah... We started spending every day together after that (very much Fiona and Gus without all the banging cause this shit is real life lmao)...well 3 weeks into us trying to date...we realized that there was something up...apparently...him and I were super compatible if you know what I mean cause legit our drunken 1st night lead to me being pregnant. So we talked and decided...and this is a direct quote..."fuck I really hope you aren't a weird mother fucker when the honeymoon phase wears off cause we are doing this shit huh?" He proposed to me the day our son was born by putting the ring on his toe and we married 4 weeks later by eloping at the townhall... Oddly enough...today marks 12 years since that fateful night that we feel into bed and created this life together purely on accident...we've been married 11 years and have 2 beautiful and smart ass sons who are 11 and 8. Things haven't always been perfect...but they have been good...but we were very very very lucky to have actually found our other half and the person who truly makes us feel whole that night in a drunken (1 night stand lmao)...we are the exception...certainly not the rule!!!! So you are 100% right...you should absolutely know someone before you mesh yourselves together in such a way...lmao...but...every once in a very blue moon...it actually weirdly works out lmao 🤣 Brace yourself for next episode cause shit is just getting good!
