♨️ 鹿児島の温泉体験 ♨️ Kagoshima Onsen Diary part 1

日本の温泉文化が本当に大好きです。今回の鹿児島の旅では、いくつかの温泉を巡って、海を見ながら温泉にゆっくり浸かるという、まるで夢のような時間を過ごしました🌊♨️ I truly love Japan’s hot spring (onsen) culture.
During my recent trip to Kagoshima, I visited several onsen and spent time soaking in the warm water while gazing out at the sea—it felt like a dream come true 🌊

目の前に広がる海、ゆっくりと流れる雲、鳥の声、そしてぽかぽかのお湯。何も考えずに、ただ自然と一体になっていくような、心がほぐれる感覚がたまりませんでした。The wide-open ocean before my eyes, the slowly drifting clouds, the sound of birds, and the gentle warmth of the water… I felt completely at peace, as if I had become one with nature. It was the kind of moment that melts away all tension.

日本では温泉はただの観光ではなく、生活の一部のように感じます。地元の人たちが「今日は寒いから温泉に行こう」とか、「疲れたからひとっ風呂」と自然に言うのを聞いて、羨ましいなと思いました。こんな文化があるなんて、本当に素敵ですよね。In Japan, onsen don’t feel like just a tourist attraction—they seem like a natural part of everyday life. Hearing locals say things like, “It’s cold today, so let’s go to the onsen,” or “I’m tired, so I’ll take a nice soak,” made me a little envious. It’s such a beautiful part of the culture.

ウクライナには日本のような温泉文化はほとんどありません。唯一、カルパチア山脈の一部に温泉地があるのですが、私の故郷からはなんと約1000kmも離れていて、気軽に行ける距離ではありませんでした。だから、温泉という存在はずっと“特別な旅行先の贅沢”というイメージでした。In Ukraine, we don’t really have a culture like this. There are a few hot springs in the Carpathian Mountains, but they’re about 1,000 km away from my hometown—definitely not somewhere you can go easily. So for me, onsen always had the image of being a luxurious getaway, something very special.

日本に来てから、こんなにも身近に、こんなにも豊かな温泉文化があることを知って、本当に感動しています。Since coming to Japan, I’ve been amazed by how close and accessible onsen are, and how rich the culture around them is.

泉質や景色、雰囲気も場所によって全然違って、行くたびに新しい発見があります。今回の鹿児島では、硫黄の香りが広がる温泉や、森の中の隠れた野湯、そして海と一緒に楽しめる露天風呂に行きました。The water quality, the scenery, the atmosphere—they’re all different depending on the location, and every visit brings a new discovery. In Kagoshima, I experienced sulfur-scented milky baths, hidden wild onsen deep in the forest, and open-air baths where you can enjoy the ocean view at the same time.

そして何より、温泉に入る時間は自分と向き合える大切なひととき。そんな時間が、日々の疲れや心のモヤモヤをゆっくり溶かしてくれます。But more than anything, time spent in an onsen is a precious moment to reconnect with myself. It slowly melts away the fatigue and worries that build up in daily life.
