I've had a sniffle for the last few days, waking up this morning was absolutely diabolical.
it's not even the bonus kind where my voice is a little extra husky.
Instead, it's type of cold you need to have with chicken soup and crackers.
Am I hot or cold? My body can't decide.
How about breathing? My nose is stuffed and running at the same time. Time to keep my gaping maw open to suck in air like a whale's blowhole.
Hungry? Nope. Everything is like chewing cardboard.
I'm armed with a forest of balsam tissues, a spritzy nose spray, honey lozenges and menthol chest rub. I'm resting as much as possible this weekend to avoid getting a dreaded *chest infection*. ✨
Of course, this is cutting into my recording time. I have a few things written but there's no way I can record anything I'd be happy with in the current state I'm in.
I'm hoping the worst of this will have passed in the next few days. I'll pick back up to recording my mantras and next longer audio.
Send balsam tissues! 🤣
