To remember your loved ones who have passed, and through us telling their stories they live on. My husband’s grandmother had Alzheimer’s and this movie hit extra hard because of that. Even on her bad days, she still remembered her favorite songs. So when mama cocoa sings it’s game over.

My dad and I were somewhat estranged from the time I was 15. He died when I was 36. I relate to you in the sense of wanting to know his side of things. My stepsister, after his death, told me how he missed me all the time, cried about me, loved me so much. And all I could say was that I wished he would have said it to me when he was alive. I feel you, Raymond. You're going to be such a wonderful father. No doubt. 💙 A beautiful beautiful film.
