For me to simplify this season specifically for myself, it made me less stressed to think about it this way, and this is just my interpretation: it all comes down to the concept of quantum entanglement Eva spoke about. When they’re showing us, for example, path A where Martha-b shows up and takes Jonas to her world and path B where Jonas runs out on his own it’s showing us the sheer amount of times this cycle has repeated, and because of Adam AND Eva’s meddling with time travel, they’ve caused these cycles to run simultaneous to one another over and over and over again.
Any Jonas existing in world A has no idea another world exists, obviously because he’s still alive, except for the version that’s Adam somehow.
I’m probably just regurgitating things you already understand and not simplifying at all but I do believe the payoff at the end is worth it. You may disagree and that’s totally okay, duh.

I'm with you on just going along for the ride in this season! :) I honestly understand it a little better, but still not fully. It's just so much to hold in your head. Then, I get to the point of asking WHAT IS THE POINT? :)
