I noticed the warning at and wanted to yelled through the screen until I realized how stupid that was. I noticed in episode. Also, with this previous Buffy 2x10 episode the othef day then I was rewatching your Star Wars reactions afterwards, and notice the flashing was bothering you there too, I was wondering if shades help alleviate the discomfort of bright lights in anyway? If so, what would possibly also help beside checking the rating descriptions(I don't know if all shows and movies do it since I don't do a lot of streaming, and I just so happened to notice it when the episode began), maybe see if you can get some shades clips that you can clip onto your glasses, so when something DOES happen, you'll be aware and can just flip the shades down onto you glasses, and continue watching, or watch easier than you could without? That is, if it even helps. Perhaps Patreon members can give you a heads up warning about which episodes may have bright and/or flashing lights that might affect your eyes so you can have some preparation ahead of time, as long as they aren't spoilering, but even then, your health and comfort should come first. Just a thought that maybe possible solution, but my knowledge of it is pretty limited. I wouldn't mind helping identifying and giving heads up for Buffy episodes since I'm most familiar with those compared to the other shows you watch, if you'd like...

But she said “nothing is real, everything is permitted” which is a misquote from ASSASSIN’S. CREED. 😂😂😂 So fake enlightened, sooooo funny.

2025-11-19 03:13:03 +0000 UTCI don’t get tired of you pointing out the connections to racism in the show, so don’t feel like you need to hold back, even if it’s a small moment or seems “redundant”…if you notice & feel like saying something, please do! The show intentionally draws parallels between vampirism and homophobia & racism in America (esp the Deep South). Sometimes it’s an overlapping moment touching on homophobia/interracial relationships like the marriage is not legal comment. Sometimes the show subverts expectations on the bigotry, like when a viewer assumes the ole boys are upset at Lafayette preparing their food because he’s black but they’re actually upset at eating what a gay person cooks. I think the language in True Blood might more closely resemble racist framing, except when they’re overt with parallels to homophobia: comparisons to sin (esp sexual sin), “perverts/predators in the classroom” talk, etc.

You get to the point where you’d try anything to get them to change, even pay $445 for a bullshit exorcism. I feel Tara, I’m a skeptic too but there are a few people I would have given anything to save.

2025-11-19 01:09:15 +0000 UTCJust my two cents on the True Blood week thing...I'm torn because, well first of all I don't want to piss everyone else off who isn't watching True Blood... but at the same time it does feel soooo long between the two episodes. Also, I do enjoy the anticipation to some degree and I don't want the show to be over too fast. Cuz if the whole season was on the family tier, I'd watch it until there were no more episodes to watch! And then be bummed it was over. I was REALLY excited about 3 episodes per week since it helped the craving a bit -- seemed like a happy medium? So I'm kinda crushed were stopping at episode 8 (ahhh! What a crazy place to stop! 😂). I mean, it would be amazing if True Blood popped up twice during each schedule -- spaced out -- because the wait between episodes seems painfully long. But really, in the end, I want you, beloved 🐕🌮, to ENJOY THE RIDE. It's so very fun watching you react to this show because it really seems like it's fun for you. So, in the end, I most want to watch the show in whatever way lends itself to your best possible enjoyment. Again, just my two cents which these days aren't worth much!
