Iβm catching up on your Dark reactions. This is my first rewatch, and I just realized (and I apologize if youβve already figured this out or someone already commented this) but the picture the new investigator, Clausen, is holding is a picture of his younger self with the *actual* Aleksander Kohler (his brother we now know). We also see Fake Aleksander/Boris looking at that newspaper about an unsolved murder in Marburg 33 years prior while heβs drinking his coffee at home.

Hannah is UNHINGED smh LOVE HER. Yes Ulrichs story so far is very tragic.
The Claudia and Egon final scene is heartbreaking. There is so much replay value with her prior conversations with him now. I may have to go back and watch some of their interactions again.

I think he did the best he could with the information he had. As spectators of course we wish he could piece things together a bit quicker but that would change the entire show. I think hes ending was great and it added depth to him and Claudia at the same time and made this a heart-wrenching moment. A++ across the board all the way from the writers to all the actors who portrayed him as well

What do you think? Was Egon a good detective? He had pretty limited information and had some wild theories, but he figured a lot of it out in the end.

I've just done a FoxTaco/Mindhunter special - Patreon moved me from ep 5 directly to ep 7, now I have to go back π
In relation to this episode, Hannah is mental for going back just for this and leaving him there, but when has she not been 100% certified insane with her shit?! We saw Ulrich's fate in the last episode, he'd seen her and ends up with nothing, all these connections. At some point he'd have died and no one he knows in any timeline knew. He'd have been completely alone until the end of his days. No resolution.
For Claudia and Egon, it's so upsetting she'd tried to be there for him but again was her actions which led to his death in the end. This is why she went to see him and apologised and told him he was a good man. She realised the poor guy had always done his best, but was always behind the curve. And now Hannah's got him in her sights. π
