SCENE. is actual comedy golddddd. Personally that character never grew on me-- in fact.... the opposite...... but god if it isn't worth it to see every horrified and bewildered face you're making lol. Your theory on Sam is interesting. Not gonna say more but classic Taco moment of looking past the weird shit in the scene and trying to figure out what's actually going on. Forgot how fun this show was, enjoying the rewatch a lottttt

2025-10-28 03:26:35 +0000 UTCI only knew Alexander Skarsgård from "The Stand" where he played Randall Flagg. Eric is my favorite role ever for him. He's what you expect a vampire to be and so much more. Jason will grow on you. His character starts very 2 dimension just following his dick around. I read these books before the show came out and the do a really good job of adapting them to tv. The casting was very close to who I imagined when reading in most cases. It is interesting to me to watch through your eyes. I had not considered the racism but it's smack right there. I'm sure you've been pulled over for DWB a time or two? Longshadow played by Raoul Trujillo, the vampire bartender? Such a cool dude IRL. I'm Indigenous, I used to live in Toronto working in the Indigenous arts scene, with a Mohawk-based dance theatre company. We booked Raoul for a lead part almost 15 years ago, every Friday he'd take us out for food and drinks. Such a charismatic man! Told us stories about working with Mel Gibson on Apocalypto, his friendship with Ethan Hawke, clowning around with Skarsgaard and Bill Compton on the set of True Blood, etc. Those were some good times working in that field.

I was so mad at him 😂 he’s done it to me more than once, too. I don’t think I ever actually finished watching this show, though! I’m excited to revisit it with company!
