MINDHUNTER EP 3-4 FULL LENGTH REACTION

MINDHUNTER EP 3-4 FULL LENGTH REACTION

I don't know if you'll ever read this but there wasn't even the term "serial killer" at this point in real life. There was not the term "mental health". If your child was autistic, downs syndrome, brain damage, Tourettes... whatever it was they were labeled retarded and kept separated from other children. While these character aren't real, the FBI starting this led to many changes in our culture overall. People who committed horrendous crimes weren't seen to have any damage of their own, they were just evil or insane... period, No middle, no gray. People also did not talk about their feelings, especially men. Parents did not talk to their children about feelings, The attitude was very much to suck it up and move on. This all looks very normal to me because this is how it was. This show in particular does an excellent job of portraying the times as they were. Also I need to add that I am very happy this has changed. βœŒοΈπŸ’–

I'm struggling to keep up with watching everything I love on here but I love how this series progresses here, especially with Anna joining the fray. Their knowledge gathering paying off is so vindicating; progress only comes though hard work and people trying something new/innovation of methods. I love how chatting they get with the interviewees!

AngryGreen

I love this show! Canβ€˜t wait for the next episodes 🩡

Yeah, they spend a lot of time building this guy up, he’s recognizable if you’re familiar with serial killers, making the opening scenes more ominous.

Valaree

thanks brother I'm surprised to see your name here on not on the Dark reactions more but glad you are enjoying either way!

FoxTaco, imagine the combination of Anna Torv and Sam Reid. That = The Newsreader. It's fantastic.

About 17:50–this triggered another direct parallel to Kemper’s profile. Kemper said he was buddies with cops and liked insinuating himself into investigations. So when Dwight was lingering around the crime scene and talking to cops, it was just another piece that was dead-on what they learned from Kemper.

I think the cold opens are to appeal to those that follow serial killers and know about them. Like, I listen to true crime and read true crime, so I know a lot of these people they reference. I know who that POS is in the cold open; knowing that, it's building up the tension and anticipation of them finally getting to study his murders and the mind behind them. If that makes sense . . .

Melissa

She portrayed Tess in the last of us and yes, she is beautiful!
