I think it was good that Keeley had this relationship with Jack but I was relieved af when it ended, I felt nervous on her behalf as soon as she was given that book but especially after Rebecca pointed out the lovebombing. By the time they actually had conflict over the video leak I was already so prepared for something terrible to happen that I was just relieved Keeley got a seemingly clean break. Hasn’t happened with Jamie or Roy but they both also actually seemed emotionally invested, which I felt like Jack never really demonstrated in the way those characters did. And this show is great at showing those redeeming moments, so it’s no accident that they didn’t show any for Jack.

I've seen them play three times for world cup qualifiers and it is INTENSE, probably the closest vibe you can get to a world cup match in the US outside of the world cup itself, which probably will be subdued this time because of, cough cough, leadership in the nation.

I think you’d might have missed that it was Rebecca repeatedly texting Keeley, not Jack. Jack only sent the “time zones mess up / there was nothing I could do” text the entire time. Rebecca was texting Keeley over and over because Keeley was hiding and ignoring her messages. I loved the moment in the mirror with Little Rebecca, and her seeing all those old men as little boys, then reading them for filth. So many wonderful moments in this episode, though. So full circle for so many characters.
