Omg I love Heredity, too!!! Heredity is probably the most genius horror film ever -- it's scary as Hell but has so many layers and cool stuff to figure out! And I don't think any horror movie can come close with regard to acting...omg...Toni Collette!!! She was unbelievable. Just beyond beyond. Everyone was incredible tho. And the cinematography with Annie's miniatures, etc? Ugh...just so freaking good. Too bad our beloved FoxTaco hates horror cuz this one is tip top tier in every way.

2025-09-07 05:26:58 +0000 UTCthe hunger games! its actually a great series! one fun suggestion that isn't super popular lol is velvet goldmine which is one of the inspirations for rockstat! its very queer and campy! some other favorites: hereditary (my fav horror movie), american psycho, also it would be funny to watch the twilight series though i admit its not a good series at all, but its one of those "its so bad its good" type of movies.

2025-08-25 03:43:40 +0000 UTCIf you ever do "Once Upon a Time In Hollywood", please, if you aren't familiar already, first look into the 1969 murder spree of The Manson Family cult. The more you know about the Manson family and the Tate-LaBianca murders, the harder that movie hits.

2025-08-25 02:34:30 +0000 UTCSorry, Trainspotting stars Ewan McGregor (and a great ensemble cast) and despite the grim sounding description, is very darkly funny and entertaining while being disturbing and providing LOTS of fodder for discussion.

2025-08-25 02:19:09 +0000 UTCThere's a couple of movies which you might enjoy which are also good performers: 1. "The Gentlemen" starring Matthew McConaughey, Hugh Grant, Colin Ferrell, and many others. Its a Guy Ritchie movie doing what Guy Ritchie does best -- a caper/gangster film with a great ensemble cast. It's super entertaining -- and I mention it because I've seen it get quite a lot of YouTube hits even on smaller channels. Filmed in Britain. OR. 2. "Trainspotting". A 90s film filmed in Scotland about a group of friends and some crazy events involving drugs and addiction and the challenges potentially inherent in the company you keep. It's got a hard core following and an absolute banger of a soundtrack. Both movies are very well made, written, etc...and seem to do really well even for people with channels much smaller than yours. Might be worth a try especially as you've been gathering a British film crowd with the Cornetto movies.
