I'm currently going through all your Pitt vids, and I just wanted to mention that ohmygodd, being that down because your girl isn't around is so so felt and honestly deeply endearing.
My own incredible and wonderful girl is currently way away, and I have to try so hard fighting off being too sad over her not being around
I hope you and your fiancé are doing great💜

Anti maskers do tend to be idiots. Just a fact.

15:05 Fair point about the masks. But, I'd bet ERs deal with issues like that quite often -- even now. I went to the ER back in May, and I wore a mask. Some people had them, some didn't. No one confronted anyone, but I def got some looks. 🤷♀️
I want someone to beat that guy's ass who punched Dana. She's one of my absolute fav characters. Love her.
1:24 Eye stuff makes me soooo squeamish. I covered my own eyes or the screen for much of that scene. I feel you.
1:39 If anyone in that ER has special sauce, it's Dr. Mel King. I adore her so much.

I looked up the stats back when this was airing, and in Pennsylvania being an ER nurse or doctor is more dangerous than being a cop.

So, you feel for problematic characters, but you dislike Santos while Langdon gets excuses and a Pass(?). Seems a little inconsistent (no judgement).

I've been really curious about your reaction to the Langdon reveal and I was not disappointed! I'm torn on who my favorite character on the show is, but he's pretty high up on that list honestly. Not that I'm defending his actions or anything like that, he's clearly very in the wrong with what he's been doing but I don't know, I guess I just have a soft spot for the problematic ones. I mean, IWTV is one of my all time favorite shows for a reason 😂
Idk, there's just something about him that really hooked me. On the surface, he seems to have a very happy life but it's all a facade hiding something much more troubling underneath and I'm wondering if what he said to Robby was true. Like, did his addiction really start with a back injury and a generous prescription and things just spiraled from there? He'd hardly be the first person that happened to and idk, there's just something so tragic about him that I can't get enough of. Especially since we've seen glimpses of how he can be when he's interacting with Mel. But like you pointed out, one of the downsides of this show's format is the limitation on just how deep we can get with each character. There's only so much you can explore over the course of one shift after all.
I wasn't sure how I felt about this storyline at first (mostly because I just REALLY didn't want Santos to be right 😂) but considering it's touching on such an important subject, both for individuals struggling with the same thing and with how prevalent it is among doctors in general? I'm very excited to see where it goes. Especially if we get to explore Robby's and Langdon's relationship more because Robby isn't exactly a poster boy for healthy coping with stress and trauma and it's obvious that Langdon looks up to him and I'm willing to bet that there's going to be a lot of guilt and all sorts of other complicated feelings going around but I'll shut up about it now because I could go on about this all day long.
Thank you for taking the time to make these reactions even in this very shitty time, I myself am very familiar with how awful the tearful goodbyes at the airport are because I've spent the past two years in a long distance relationship and I know how rough it gets. Your videos have really helped with keeping me distracted and busy and I hope that just knowing how appreciated your effort is makes you feel at least a tiny bit better!
