Yellowstone might be good at some point? (I love it, and I didn't think I would, so I'm super happy when I find new reactions to it, but that's just me.🤷♀️)

2025-07-12 03:21:54 +0000 UTCSeeing a couple of recommendations for SHRINKING (2023 through current), I'd like to echo that. It's funny, smart and deep. 🔸 On the other end of the spectrum, I voted for DEXTER (2006 through 2013). 🩸 I've loved it and all three of its spinoffs, one is ongoing.

2025-07-11 14:48:54 +0000 UTCYou already know what I’m going to say: SHRINKING But, Abbot Elementary is too good so I voted for that as well and everyone can use a good laugh. I also voted for The Sandman, but since the second and unfortunately last season is going on right now (they split it into two parts so only half came out and then the other half starts 7/24), you can just start a new series in the mean time, wait for it to finish, and then binge.

2025-07-11 13:19:16 +0000 UTCI DON'T EXPECT YOU TO ADD ALL OF THESE, BUT MAYBE IF PEOPLE ARE INTERESTED IN ANY OF THEM, THEY COULD COMMENT AND YOU COULD GO FROM THERE MOVING FORWARD: "Rome" (2 seasons) "Fringe" (yeah, yeah, I know. It's Sci-Fi but so damn good) "Deadwood"?? I haven't seen it, but it's on a lot of top TV show lists "The Shield" "Euphoria" "The Leftovers" (I'll push this every single time) "Forever" a modern retelling of the Judy Blume novel on Netflix -- great reviews -- I like the twist of featuring young Black protagonists "Maid" "The Queen's Gambit" "Unbelievable" "The Night Of" "Paradise" "Fargo" True Detective Season 4 "Night Country" "Little Fires Everywhere"

2025-07-11 11:46:30 +0000 UTCI enjoy nearly every show you react to and just step aside for the ones I'm not interested in watching. But reflecting on this, I feel the need for something outside of the traditional sci/fi, mild horror, fantasy genre after some of the latest lineups. Now . . . before someone comes for me, Mr. Robot is a crime/drama/thriller even though it sounds sci-fi-ish. Mindhunter got my vote. Dexter is fun, but I don't want to watch it again even with the great FoxTaco. I'm going to do a little Googling and make some more recommendations with different genre vibes. :) :)

2025-07-11 11:04:35 +0000 UTCI continue to recommend Resident Alien and Doctor Who. And would like to add Good Omens. :)

2025-07-11 07:56:11 +0000 UTCYou know what else had a great couple seasons, American Gods. The first season especially was incredible. I wouldn't normally recommend it cuz it got cancelled after 3 seasons, but Mindhunter got cancelled after 2 seasons.... so maybe that's not a deal breaker? Have you seen season 1 of American Gods, Raymond? Cuz I think you would like it. Orlando Jones was...WOW. He was involved in writing it, too.
